Why American's so fat?

The argument that those people are starving because America's too fat is utterly ridiculous.

Especially since these threads are supposed to happen during Thanksgiving and christmas. Not the middle of January when all that's happening is the AFC and NFC title games and the final month before the conference playoffs in College B-ball.

i've never understood this american thing about brits having bad teeth.

its probably only the royal family you get this weird image of british folk from.

hell david beckham dont have bad teeth...rooney aint no looker but he dont have bad teeth.

I mean it is common knowledge that alot of americans are overweight and there are surveys done on that too.
but the bad teeth things always puzzled me.
and also the americans always picture the british guy to be like hugh grant...all polite and bumbling and stuff...whereas up here in yorkshire its very different to down south...in attitudes and in dialect..and certainly no bad teeth!!

i first noticed the americans idea about bad teeth on family guy...and i t puzzled me then too..

I'm 5'10 and around 200 pounds, lol. I'd buy a starving kid groceries every freaking week if I knew one.

People tend to pick one thing to cut out, then do it to death, which causes them to revert back to their original state. Diet and exercise have to be done in combination, not one or the other.

I agree... my father doesn't believe that. he think that if you eat smaller portions, you lose weight, and I find that to be a bunch of bull

If you have an active life [lots of walking and whatnot] then if you do cut out some junk you'll gradually lose weight.

I'm not telling yo to do anything... I'm suggesting it. No need to get so incredibly hostile about it.

If you have a healthy lifestyle, you got nothing to worry about, but this is just my opinion that Americans should care more about what they intake.

I tried it, it didn't help at all... I'm now bringing more cardio-based exercises into my life to get into shape.

Depends on the amount of calories you eat, not the food. Also some exercise helps as well.
