I have a feeling that Spidey 3 will be the fan favorite from the trilogy and be the favorite by the general consumer. However, for some reason I think critics won't give this one the high reviews they gave 1 & 2 (here's hoping otherwise)
Harry Potter? Ugh...personally, i don't think the spidey or x-men films hold as much memorable qualities as seeins supes fly for the first time inthe 70s.
in a list of iconic films of the new millenium, LOTR, and the Harry potter series are probably goign to be the best remembered.
True. Those saying "too many villains"- lol- that makes me laugh... just look at how many villains and supporting characters Batman Begins had!
and it manages to do something that most superhero films stay away from- it gave MJ an actual character arc! Yep, that's right... MJ isn't your typical "girl" in a film like this, she's her own character and has her own arc which contributes heavily to the film.

The keywords that you used are: TO ME.
Which means absolutely nothing, you're one person, you seem to think that YOU decide what's good, great and bad about a particular movie for the majority, and you don't. I know people who love LOTR books and hate the movie, same with Harry Potter, but they're in the minority--so it's moot, no different from Spidey's films. I guess they could spend 24/7 and all year around on LOTR/Harry Potter message boards damning the movies, but perhaps they have better things to do. Movies deemed good/great are all about the majority, not a few disgruntled fanboys.
No individual makes a movie a classic or talked about decade(s) later, the majority are the ones who do that, by how they feel about a particular film. Hey, I hated E.T. when I saw it and still do (and I don't care who loves it or calls it a classic), but I'm not stupid enough to think that it won't be remembered or talked about because I didn't like it, it's all about the majority who like/loved the film.
Fanboys are so stupid in this regard.![]()
Can you use anymore damn smilies to make your point? We get it, we get it, you don't like the films, sheesh.Hey, trash can muppetyou've completely missed the point of my post and therefore voided your own "argument"

Yes, the keywords of my post were, "to me" and thats all there is to it. It's common knowledge that the spidey movies are popular but you and others fail to understand that there are people such as myself who share a different opinion on the quality of the spidey films. I don't and have never spoken on behalf of anyone else other than myself. I couldn't care less about the majority you're so quick to point out, that means absoloutly nothing to me because I'm free to make my own decisions and opinions. How I choose to spend my time on discussing a particular topic is entirely up to me. The fact is, I love spider-man and have a passion for the character but the last time I checked, there was no universal law that dictates, only good things can be spoken of the spidey movies. I've made my fair share of "positive" comments towards these movies but TO MEthe bad hugely outweigh the good and if people can't appreciate that, tough because there aint a damn thing anyone can do about it
