The REAL Bond is back! Read it and weep you Craig naysaying idiots!
MKO1234 said:Super fan, you can't claim to speak for yourself all the time, and then tell people with opinions contrary to yours that they are wrong or don't know what they are talking about. They obviously are speaking for themselves too. Loosen up man, let people feel how they want to feel. All this he's uglier, no he's uglier, he has the wrong hair color, his voice is this, no his voice is that,.. it's all getting petty. Its one thing to state your position, it's another to tell people you call things who you see them and then tell them they are wrong for not agreeing with you. Free world. Free speech. Free OPINIONS.

Gammy has a point though:
Some people just want don't get it do they Gam?

"The bottom line is that EON is putting all their eggs in the "reboot" basket. They're hoping and praying that a new generation of fans who like the Bourne Identity kind of spy-guy, will disregard the Bond of the last 40 yrs and embrace the new craggy, ugly, dull, charmless brute that the new "Bond" is.
They may have nailed current sentiment and taste or missed it entirely. We'll see come November 17th."
EON and Sony are fully aware that not every Bond fan is going to love Craig. But what does that have to do with anything?super_fan said:I'm not saying that a more average looking man can't play Bond but Bond has looked a certain way for 20 films so you can't expect every Bond fan to look at Craig and say, "wow, he really looks the part."
It's not reasonable, not credible, to think every Bond fan will have that sort of response and Eon and Sony should be aware of that.
Well, that analogy doesn't really appy here. I'll explain why. You see, when someone calls a naysayer an "idiot", and then complains about the naysayer's intolerance to Craig, it's really hypocrisy, nothing more. The point here is, if you are not tolerant and civil to your fellow man, then don't expect him to be.
Don't count on it. After the dismal performance of Superman Returns this summer, well, nothing is "guaranteed". SR had good reviews, and most of the critics hailed it as a summer blockbuster, however, it turned out to be a film of Boxoffice mediocrity. Therefore, just because the critics are painting Craig as the next best thing since sliced bread, be a little more careful before jumping the gun. Crtitical acclaim doesn't automatically guarantee "profit" and "number 1 spot at the BO".
As for Bond's look - the five Bonds were universally good looking. Classically good looking. Far better looking than the average male model you see in magazines.
Top five male models in the world:

Does anyone remember wayback when BRB or w/e his name was use to swear The Hulk would dominate the BO... In either case, superfan... what's the big deal? You have 22 movies of your bond... Why is something different so bad?
