why dont the joker and the riddler work togeather more often??

I have to wonder,I mean,one deals with jokes the other riddles and there styles pretty much identical so why dont they work togeather more often?? have they ever worked togeather??

well, one's kind of sane and is in it all for the money, and one is pretty f'n insane and about as loose and cannons come.

Because one is a criminal mastermind (or would be criminal mastermind) who wants to prove his superiority to others, and the other is a psychopathic spree slayer/theif who acts solely on whim, adovcates a "do as you please, **** everything else" philosophy, and commits horrible murders and acts of cruelty for varrying reasons, but often because he just bloody felt like it. The two have completely different motivations and psychosese.

Bassically. The Joker wants to blow up every EB games in the state because they don't take checks. Anyone who thinks working with him would be either profitable or safe is a dumbass. He'd probably torture you, kill you, or torture you do death over the slightest hint of rudeness or a negative aditude.

They are also both pretty egotistical, "look at me" type characters. It would never work.

Again, it really wouldn't work. Luthor's all about control, and The Joker's all about chaos. Luthor arranging things so The Joker killig someone he needs to get rid of, like in IC, works alright. But they really can't team up. Completely different motivations and goals.

Nigma is a PI right now, and has made a good living at it.
Even when he was on his own side of the law, he was to smart to work with the Joker. Nigma is neurotic, and obsessive compulsive, but far from truly insane.

Joker is the worst kind of crazy. He is a genius, a sociopath, a bipolar egotistical madman, and gives human life less value than chewing gum.
Only someone who was truly out of their mind would even think of working with joker for long.

I would think a well-written Joker/Lex teamup would be spectacular... I mean, everyone needs a balance of order and chaos, and they would mix together and be a very unstoppable team... like Lex could plan things out, and if something goes wrong and is in need of spontanaity, then the Joker could think of a quick getaway... ya know?

But their goals and motivations are completely different. They'd both see each other as representing what they hate.

Luthor and Joker teamed up in Rock of Ages and that didn't work out too well. Joker is too much of a loose cannon.

Honestly? They'd try and kill each other. Each of them would most likely see the other as what they veiw as the worst example of humanity.

but its a matter of style,at the end of the day riddler loves a good riddle more then anything and same with joker,loves a good joke so they could do some great work togeather and bats has such trouble with them both.The one thing they did work on is the jason todd prank in hush and that was great,imagine what else they could do.
