wow..just saw the trailer...wow....was that even dragon ball?
no it wasn't...let us all get back to sleep..it's just a bad dream...
Talking animals i think would ruin it, especially seeing Pigs and Dogs in clothes, the Dinosaurs would be cool though unnecessary
seriously, if approached correctly people don't care about talking animals. The way that DB looks, ya it would look stupid. They are part of the world. Just like a stone giant, a big snail, a talking Turtle (it had a giant talking Turtle for christ's sake!) and an annoying talking bird were part of the Neverending story. Why are people afraid of fantasy?
i don't know what to think of the trailer. I need sound.
However, yeah, it looks too much like our own reality; i've always that was the fun of dragon ball: it was it's own little universe. But i kept on seeing that US taxi cab in those shots, and it does take away the mystic of it all.
dudes! how many times have u watched this teaser?i just read all the minor details u all have noticed like that''ha!'' thing and now the us taxi cab? i only watched it 3 times (fully)...u really analyze it huh? i guess that's a good thing though....

Forbidden Kingdom....never thought of that. I never got a chance to watch that. You're right though. It's a cross between Forbidden Kingdom and Bulletproof Monk.
July 28, 2002 The Hollywood Reporter reports:
Recently Dragon Ball Z's creator, Akira Toriyama, met in Japan with Fox executives to discuss creative plans for the property. Toriyama had this to say, "Recent movies have surprised us by entering such territory that used to belong only to comics with wonderful technology and wisdom. As a big movie fan, I am truly looking forward to the movie version of Dragonball. I hope you will entertain millions and millions of people with the brand new Dragonball of a totally new dimension that surpasses my imagination."
