Will Harry have superpowers?

maybe it will take the same path as the ultimate spiderman harry osbourne....
harry had the power to become hobgoblin since the first comics when he witnessed the explosion that created GG, and it was supressed by therapy and was unleashed by a trigger word.

maybe norman had secretly injected harry in the first film but kept him in hypotherapy in his sleep or something and harrys trigger would be when he found out who spiderman was...as he did start hearing and seeing norman automatically after he found out who spidey was....

just a thought.

Cool as that sounds to me...it might seemed contrived to suddenly pull out of nowhere in the third film without prior hints (though it would explain Harry's hallucination in SM2).

Who here remembers how badly Peter kicked the @ss of Flash Thompson in Spider-Man 1?

Flash Thompson was a very big, athletic guy. And even throwing extremely rapid and well-placed punches, he looked to be moving in slow motion to Peter.

Without the serum, Harry won't even get one punch in on Peter. And even if he did... it wouldn't even hurt Peter. Parker can take hits from a Green Goblin who is 8 times stronger than a normal man.

For those who don't think 8 times stronger is a big deal, imagine being in an arm wrestling match with someone TWICE as strong as you (and uses technique equal to yours). You'd lose almost instantly. A guy with three times your strength would probably smash your hand when he slams it down in victory. At 8 times stronger, your arm is probably gonna just tear off from the force.

So to Parker, a punch from a normal person is practically a pat on the back. The fight would be over before Harry knew it because Peter would be able to attack him so much faster and stronger.

So yeah... no way Harry has an intial fight without serum. Because he'd be defeated in literally 10 seconds.

i mean isnt that why he let him live.

i know harry was in shock when he found out but he still could have killed pete if he wanted to, but he didnt he let him live

he was in shock...and right when he took the mask off, peter woke up...Harry wouldn't have been able to stab Peter while he was awake, Peter's too fast.

and the shock is a HUGE thing. Do you not think you'd want to talk a little if you unmasked your father's "killer" only to find out it was your best friend...do you think you could just go "well f#ck it" and stab him?...i don't think so.

Reasons why this thread should not even be started or at least be int he teaser trailer thread

1. harry was seen in SM2 holding the formula.. eluding to him changing
2. in the teaser trailer we see the new goblin punch through a brick wall.

only possible way out is if harry was not the goblin.... which would be a good fourth villain twist

but franco has said he does stunts in sm3

It would only make sense...and if by some reason he doesn't have superpowers, i will be AMAZED.

This does seem to imply Harry's on the juice during the scene. Unless he's got some really fancy kevlar gloves.
