Transformers Will Transformers Trounce the Competition?

Maybe in lieu of recent studio moves in the past few years, the next movie we can all argue over will be Transformers vs. Gobots: The Epic Battle.

BB looks insect like...and that reads perfectly

just like megatron looking evil and monstrous

and OP having the 80's style flames on a Trailer Truck....
(bay knows car characterization, and john wayne in an 80s truck movies has flames)

Spielberg is quoted as telling bay that he's becoming more of a story teller and less of "one of the best shooters around"

this is story telling on a visual level...
(the good guys are sleek and yellow and blue...the bad guys have jagged edges, jagged teeth and talk like Hugo weaving)

This movie will trounce the comp for one of 8 reasons
it's new

i was in the theater when they showed the first teaser and the final trailer

the audience doesn't know what to make of it and they clap

unlike pirates and potter theres no mystery as to what we'll be getting

but Just like that first time we saw spidey swinging
or depp fully immersed in a pirate costume with great lighting and skeletons about

curiosity will drag us kicking and screaming to see what Entertainment Tonight is talking all sorts of praise about(and u know they will)!

another reason why SR did ****ty, but BB did kind of well at

the selling point of Jurassic P was "come see real Dinos for the first time ever in an age where CG works and with a Director that shoots like a painter.."

mark my words this opening is going to murder absolute ****ing murder
(all this movie needs is will smith i'm only half joking)

bad snobby reviews may kick in later but the fact of the matter is, black dudes like me, little kids, car loving dads, etc..
are the audience and reviews don't really phase us

It will open strong, but nothing spectacular and then crawl for dear life to hit 200 million domestic.

Me too. I personally liked SR a lot. It was not a BAD movie. In fact, it was (at times) brilliant. But, at the same time, I don't disagree with the detractors. The movie was missing something.

It freakin beats Ghost Rider, Elektra, and those crapfests in my book tho!

Batman hardly looks the way he looks in the comics

Dude, that picture is completely lack of color. And that pic does look bad ass, did I say otherwise? I was going back to the first ever Batman for a reason- some fans actually wanted to see light gray and black, which, personally I will never understand. I went to the basics of the Bob Kane (first) Batman era.

And from all of the to screen or to cartoon adaptations that I have seen- Batman Begins truly has the most bad ass and dark knight out of all of them.

Open strong? SR did only $52m OW, even FF made more than it. Getting to $200m showed that SR even with so low opening got good enough legs.

I guess TF will improve this, but I really can't see anything more than $230m in total.

I'm 100% convinced that the G1 designs were designed for animation
(considering i'm going to school for that as we speak)

the minds behind it worked within their constraints...
the fact that beast wars has more complex less simple designs affirms that...

the minute the power ranger movie decided teh megazord fight was going to be CGI they lost the blocky man in suit designs (which were designed for a man in a suit mind u) and went for the best look their talented technical artists could come up with

"Bay" "Designed" a robotic species as real world as possible without constraints....

I'm pretty sure the Cine's TF was in Domestic though, which threw me off of the World Wide (never stated) - possibly domestic.

And we were actually the two championing SR. I'm Triligors.

That's possible, as I said- the NEW factor might make give it a strong bump from the films from previous summers that it could be related to - Day after Tomorrow & War of the Worlds.
