Okay, given that in other wrap party pics his hair is still long, and this one it seems like it's short...I'm going to take a wild guess and say that he had his hair cut at the wrap party? *lol*
The Subway menu specials write themselves!the Sebastian Stanwich
the Sebastian Stanwich
Bucky looks so cool in that cast picture. He's going to be such a star of the movie.
Imagine how cool a winter soldier/black panther fight would be? I honestly have no idea who to vote for
You miss the leaked concept art, Bucky was on it? Renner repost them:OMG! Bucky has returned to me. Last I heard he wasn't confirmed for this movie. I haven't been so impacted by a movie character in years, especially one who hardly speaks.
I'm glad to see they brought him back. But I am probably in the minority but I don't want Tony to have a major problem with him for his last actions.
Sebastian Stan has been underrated for a while now. Glad to see him finally getting a little higher-profile attention.
I think the whole turning point of Stan's career was the scene in the chair in TWS. Up until then he was just a mysterious yet kinda sexy thug, but once the chair scene happened and you got the fangirls feeling sorry for him, it was off to the races. There was NO interest in Bucky after TFA, he just didn't register with most of the fans. It wasn't until TWS and the chair scene with all its angst and horror (and shirtlessness) that he got noticed. I guess being slapped around by Robert Redford has its benefits...
Too bad Bucky's long hair wasn't up in a man-bun in that chair scene. It wasn't until TWS and the chair scene with all its angst and horror (and shirtlessness) that he got noticed. I guess being slapped around by Robert Redford has its benefits...
Agreed. I've never had such a 180 on a character from terror to compassion so quickly. It's a rough scene to watch
Yeah, me and my sister have come to call that the 'kick the puppy/dog' scene. I mean seriously, after Pierce says 'wipe him' the look on Bucky's face is (IMO) that of a dog that's just been kicked. What Sebastian is able to convey with having so very little to say...That's really one of most despicable scenes by an MCU villain we've seen onscreen, IMO.
It's just cruel and sad. The way Pierce slaps him across the face like a disobedient dog, how cold and matter-of-fact he says "then wipe him and start over", and then just turns and walks away while Bucky is screaming. Makes it really clear Pierce doesn't see him as a person, he's just a tool to him.
Bucky looks so lost and confused and scared in that scene too. He looks like a lost dog that doesn't know what's going on.
