t: I'm crossing my fingers we'll see more Bucky/Nat interaction going forward.
TWS shot and attacked Nat, Bucky didn't because he was brainwashed. Bruce is eventually going to find his way back to Betty.

But it would have been nice to at least hint that he trained Nat, especially since we know WS was passed to the Russians for some time. (Bucky speaks Russian in TWS, while TFA seems to insinuate Hydra started out German.)Wish they'd added a line in AOU where Hulk calls Widow "Betty".I miss Betty.![]()
General Ross HAS to mention Betty and Bruce in CW.I miss Betty.![]()
Wish they'd added a line in AOU where Hulk calls Widow "Betty".
That would've been AMAZING! BW's like, "Betty who?"Wish they'd added a line in AOU where Hulk calls Widow "Betty".

I realize I'm going to get flack for this but Im going to say it anyway:
I'm a HUGE Winter Soldier fan, I have all his comic appearances, all his action figures. Even a cosplay of his metal arm....but I dont know why I cant get into Stan as Bucky. I really want to but I'm having a really hard time liking him.....He was kind of blah in The First Avenger. He's an awesome Winter Soldier because they made him a total badass, but the more I see him as Bucky something just doesnt sit right with me. Especially when they do a conflicted Bucky. In Winter Soldier when he recognized Steve I hated his delivery of "I knew that man." And it seems conflicted Bucky is all we're going to get in Civil War
I totally agree with you on The First Avenger...I was like who is this schmuck? Winter Soldier I was like wow....kind of like the whole Hugh Jackman Wolverine thing going on (a guy who is a crazy metro sexual broadway singing dude pulls off this badass character). Most of the CW reviews have spoken highly of Stan in it. I think he is going to do fine. I might even be so bold to say that if anything happens to Stan I will take it badly...like really badly. I would love to see WS be a regular in the franchise. He has a lot to repent for and the conflict between what he has done and what he can do to manage that guilt would be great to see. Quite frankly he kind of deserves a 'happy ending' so to speak.
I wouldnt mind seeing him have a happy ending, but in the comics hes tortured by his past and everything he does is to make amends for it... thats why he even took the mantle as Captain America (to honor Steve and to make up for his past in the process), if they decide to do that story line in the movies I dont think I'd be able to buy him as Captain America
Yeah the comic book run as cap did not really bother me but in the MCU really don't want to see anyone but Evans as THE CAPTAIN. But i would love for him to get to work with the Avengers maybe...have a beer with Steve once in awhile...maybe not get experimented on, thrown off a moving train and left for dead, and certainly not brainwashed into becoming a Hydra Assassin for a few years. You know some downtime? lol
I even wonder how Bucky will be able to have a normal life even after all of this chaos...I mean he was the Winter Soldier Hydra's puppet for over 7 decades and now that he is no longer controlled by Hydra I mean how is he able to function in the real world
Bucky having his own solo film actually would be interesting now that I think about it
