So a few weeks ago I saw Twilight and liked it and now I'm having a really hard time deciding whether or not to see the movies first or read the books first. On one hand, it's been years since I've read something other than mangas or a Spider-Man book. I lost interest in reading after middle school since it just felt like unneccesary work at that time and there was nothing I really wanted to read. And they closed the library where I live years ago. On the other hand, the movies might not be as much fun if I read the books first. Also, the books are really long, so even if I read like 100 pages a day, it would still be like a week before I finsihed one book, and that's more time than I'm willing to spend. I think I would prefer to see the movies and I've been thinking about buying them and taking them on vacation, [assuming we go on one], but it would only be a 5 and a half hour drive if we do go, and that doesn't leave much time for the other stuff I want to watch. If only it was an eight hour drive or better yet, a 13 hour one. I could just watch them at home, but everything is more fun on vacation. So what do you think I should do?
Don't watch Twilight anymore
But seriously, go for the Spider-Man essential collections if you want that route. But I'm a guy who is going into a career in film, but I say treat them as two different things. Because they are, one is a medium based on the book, the other... is a book! Just see it as two different things.

Tried expressing my love of film... failed expressing my love of film... And that Twilight is not a film
