He needs to get on that DDP Yoga ASAP.

LOL. I actually will be starting mine back up tonight. I was nursing a shoulder and hip problem but now that it's fixed I can get back to it. Cannot wait!

Pretty cool that Jake was backstage last night.

Not sure that he was. That image is from back in May. Love seeing him give props to Ziggler though.

In other news, is there anything that Rosa Mendes can do well? Terrible wrestler, terrible dancer, just awful.

On second thought, Michael Hayes could probably answer that question.

So Sting left after dropping Triple H and Dolph was left as the final shot?
Ziggler made a comeback, eliminating both Kane and Harper, leaving himself and Rollins in the final stretch. Ziggler gets beat on in classic fashion, puts Rollins away and HHH interferes by knocking out the ref. Ziggler somehow fights back and clears Mercury and Noble out, and another ref comes down. HHH knocks that one out too, then Pedigrees Ziggler and puts Rollins on top for the cover. He calls for another ref and it's Armstrong, but then Sting's music hits and he lays out Armstrong. HHH and Sting have a two minute stare down, then HHH tries to attack Sting and gets Death Dropped. He then drags Ziggler over Rollins, leaves, Ziggler gets the win and no more Authority. Mind you, Rollins was out for at least six minutes, that was one powerful Zig Zag.

Even when trying to use continuity WWE screw it up, maybe that's why they rarely bother.
Agreed.

What happened with Show?
Basically, three on two with Ziggler layed out on the floor. All of them were in the ring, so Show KO's Cena, they get the pin and he gets counted out to leave Ziggler all alone. In context, it doesn't seem like a regular heel turn as it's him doing the logical thing to save his job. But like you said above, it's WWE, they'll somehow screw it up.

I don't think the Kiss of Death was as clear-cut as all that. I think tomorrow night on Raw, we'll find out Brie and Nikki were in cahoots all along, and the whole Belladrama was designed to lure AJ out until they could get Nikki in place for the title shot. They figured neither Bella could actually beat her clean, so they took a page out of her old playbook and played dirty.
That would be better than a jealousy thing.

Same here, but with a groin pull. Took me out for two months and the last month I've been unmotivated. I need to get flexible again before going back to Muay Thai.

From a storyline perspective, it looks like Show did not walk into the match planning to turn traitor, but the decision was made in that instant when he saw the Ziggler was basically dead, Cena could barely stand, and he was facing off against Kane, Harper and Rollins alone. It appears he did the quick mental math, and decided to clock Cena and immediately cash in on Triple H's offer.

Big Show just needs to go away already. Let him have a final feud leading into Mania and then retire. He could have his HoF induction a few years down the line. Though I'm guessing now he'll be the first announced for this coming class.

Sting vs Trips for Mania is okay I guess.

Yeah Taker's done. And I wouldn't want him attempting to wrestle again after Mania.

Sting vs HHH is the deal. Haitch has been putting his working boots everytime he wrestles lately, so I definitely expect him to put in a strong effort to carry Sting.

I don't think this was as last minute as people think. Remember that rumor about the McMahon power struggle becoming a focus leading into Wrestlemania? This angle is likely the beginning. It was meant to involve the Rock but likely there was a scheduling conflict, and they brought Sting in instead. Probably had it planned for a couple of weeks.

Yeah they were trying to get either Rock or Stone Cold . Luckily this could be the perfect opportunity to have Sting step in. The only downside is motivation. Sting has no motive.

Natalya bitter over AJ? Geez.

Yeah, she moaned about her getting storylines with top guys and how she was 90% skipping and facials. I like Nattie as a worker but she's just never had the extra bit it takes to be the main female on the roster and I think she struggles to accept that.

Apart from the ridiculous time lapse on the Zig-Zag that sounds reasonably well booked in fairness, of course what they do with it and Dolph from here remains to be seen, I mean I know where it should go logically, but this is WWE.

That's like Hulk thinking him and Superman can't win because Spidey's catching his breath and Supes is recouping from a flash of Krypotonite, so he needs to hold the fort for a few minutes and instead bottles it and turns on them.

The Rock wasn't going to compete at WM 31 anyways. He has like 1,000 movies in various stages of pre-production right now.

He's going to be promoting San Andreas and filming Suicide Squad during that time.

Okay, that last part is pure fan speculation. :)

The Rock also has Fast 7 coming out on April 3rd.

Aside from Ryback, it was a well booked ME. Rollins looked phenomenal, Ziggler was the last man and gets the rub, and Rusev was protected. Big question mark is that Cena has the power to reinstate the Authority, so I'm figuring how that will come about. I really thought Rollins was going to get up and try to attack Sting, but it is what it is.

Pretty much, but it actually made sense because Ziggler was out a long time. He was more or less a non-threat at that point.

My thoughts on last night -

STIIIIINNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGG!! Yes, I marked out like a 12 year old boy. Sting in the WWE is something I've waited an eternity for and I pray, pray that the stinger is the one WCW guy that Vince treats with respect and grandeur and if last night is any indication he will. I only want to see Sting wrestle once and I don't want him on television every week. This obviously sets up Sting/HHH at Mania and I'm cool with it. I think the path with Sting leading up to Mania should go like this. Have him appear every once in awhile in the middle of matches to prevent injustices. I've thought for awhile now that a storyline arc of a wrestler being a white knight/superhero type that stops screw jobs and BS finishes would be fresh and Sting fits the bill. I don't even want him to talk for awhile, just save the day here and there. This leads into the ultimate good vs. the ultimate evil at Wrestlemania in a match where you couldn't predict the winner. Sting is a one and done while trips will wrestle more than one more match. Does Sting go out on top or does triple h complete his burial of WCW? My only issue with Sting's debut last night....the god awful theme music. Why Vince? You own his crow theme and if you wanted to make it your own, use the WWE2K orchestra version. Jeez!

- Ziggler getting the sole survivor spot was awesome and hopefully leads to a true push. If they let him, Ziggler could match Daniel Bryan's momentum last year. The man is the complete package, he is right there with Bryan in the ring and he has better mic skills. However, I remain skeptical because of all the false starts. And my one issue with Ziggler remains....I don't think the name "Dolph Ziggler" is good for the marquee. Would it be so hard to call him Nick Nemeth or Nick Ziggler?

- If I am forced to sit through Cena/Show again I'll rip my eyeballs out. Roll with Show/Ryback.

- My mania main event is still Ambrose/Lesnar!

- Dolph Ziggler tweeted the following about Team Cena's win at Survivor Series:

"big shoutout to team cena, we were all in it together at Survivor Series & I was glad I could help. Guess I won't be looking for a job at chipotle, yet. Also, to everyone who was team ziggler for these past 6 years of ups and downs, damn that was an awesome night! Oh and sting showed up to help, haha STING! 1st time ever in a WWE ring... ARE YOU SERIOUS BRO? I don't get a lot of sleep but I certainly go through a lot of ice, and it's worth it every damn night. No excuses, it's time to capitalize on this opportunity & we will, WWE UNIVERSE! This is just the beginning It's too bad... I'm too good! Now let's get #RAW"

Rusev was so awkward in this segment last night. It kinda made me love him even more.

Rusev wearing sandals too made me laugh for some reason.

Yeah, it was the sandals combined with the goofy grin and everyone chanting "Fight!" He just looked so happy to be included for a change.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com reported on his hotline last night that the plan for Sting is still to wrestle the Undertaker at Wrestlemania and last night's debut was the beginning of a number of slow teases to that. Although he hasn't been told by anyone in WWE, Mike Johnson wondered if HHH was going to be a Plan B given the angle last night. He emphasized that that has not been reported to him.

Sting will not be used on a regular basis, but the plan is for him to have a few big matches this upcoming year. As reported before, Sting is not scheduled for RAW or Smackdown this week.

Has anyone else been really impressed with Erick Rowan since the split? I'd always seen him as the weak link of the Wyatts but he's been surprising me every week. Like, where did this come from? :

**somewhere in an alternate timeline**

"Uh, listen Dolph, we really like you, but there have been some complaints from customers."

"Okay, no problem, I'm here to learn."

"For instance, when a customer asks you for extra guacamole, we don't really need you to smash a cutting board over your head and then flop around on the floor screaming."

"Got it. I'll just stumble around for a bit, then do a flat-out Greg Valentine faceplant."

"Uh, no, you're not really getting what I'm saying. We don't want you to smash things on your head at all."

"Right, right, got it. I'll stick to suicide dives only."

"Wow. Okay, this isn't going to work out."

"Damnit! Buried again!"

Seth Rollins he is not, but I can totally see him becoming a George "The Animal" Steele kind of character.

Good. Keep Sting as a special attraction.

If Ziggler is back in the title Hunt then maybe this feud with Luke Harper will be a low impact version of what was planned with the HBK/Vader feud. He's already lost it and now they can build it up well and when Dolph wins it back it'll be that much sweeter.
