What is being said at AICN?

There were some screening reports months back, but I think that was the 80 minute version. General reviews were it was okay if I remember correctly.

And one of the review mentioned pacing problems so hopefully that's gone now that it's longer.

No if the problem was that crap wasn't explained or allowed to breath for dramatic effect.

If i recall correctly, the short version's middle moved too fast for any real dramatic effect.

That is why you cannot have an 80 minute movie with that sort of content. It doesn't cut it these days.

Fox has this obsession with cutting their films' running time down to about 1 1/2 hour as well.

I couldn't watch all the clips, they're major spoilers, but I did watch the 2nd behind the scenes featurette. So far, it all just confirms that this is exactly what I was hoping for. It really feels like a good old fashioned monster flick, but with a great epic cinematic feel. There is a rich quality to it that is so fantastic to see for this kind of movie.
I gotta say, I am more pumped than ever!

I only checked out two of the clips, and I loved them. There is something so unabashedly honest, simple and straight up about this movie that is really great to see in this day and age of film-making. It feels classic and yet fresh and new at the same time. It doesn't seem to be trying to be anything but a cool werewolf movie.

CLIP #5 is just so freaking amazing it's ridiculous. I cannot believe this movie. It's too early to say anything about the acting, but as far as the action....holy!
Another note, this director should do a great job with Captain America. I mean, this Wolf Man movie is very super-hero/comic book like.
