We begin 20 years in the future with charles running for his life with the future mutants (they should have a name) Marrow, Hellion, Bishop, and Domino, when they fight a sentinel off and get into a warehouse, there we see some different sentinels chasing them untill one of them show three claws in its hand.
Back in the present time we see an mrd base were Kitty, Forge an Logan arrive, wearing their costumes all black, kind off like the current X force uniforms. Kitty phases them in and they want to retrieve information about the master mold, Kitty suggests they get the rest of the x men and inmediateley destroy the facility, and Logan when he sees that they are producing many sentinels tells kitty and forge to get out, that things will get nasty. After forge gets some info kitty phases the two of them out, and logan starts fighitng the mrd agents. After some fight and defeating some of them and bolivar trask activates one sentinel and it blams wolverine, knocking him out.
In the future, the future x's defeat the wolverine sentinel, with a full attack with marrow and Bishop and Hellion, and after the sentinel is down, Bishop and the professor comment on how those claws look familiar, after they say this, the sentinel starts to heal itself, wolverine style, and they say that is something they've seen before. They star to run off and many of this new sentinels jump through the windows, all of them with claws. They chase them untill they reach a desert, leaving the city, and Bishop says its the ...... (dont remember what was the name) and that no one goes in there, not even the sentinels. The future x's start running in there and about six of this new sentinels dont get into the desert.
In the present Kitty and Forge are outside the base waiting for Wolverine and kitty is worried since he is not coming, she says she is going in, and forge replies that wolverine told them not to come back, kitty says thats right but he also said he wouldnt take that much, and he shouldnt worry SHE is going in, and she phases forge to a truck and tells him to stay in there. After she leaves forge says that he has to go to the bathroom and realizes that there are two mrd agents in the front seats.
in the future the Charles group sees, while beind far into the dessert, that the sentinels are not coming, untill they receive and order and start running after them. One more time they fight them, wiht domino shooting and hellion fighting them, untill they reach an apparently electric tornado, and lightning bolts fall from the sky and all the sentinels are destroyed and reduced to just metal parts right when they are about to reach them, and also Xavier legs fall to the floor since he has like an exhoskeleton(how is it written?). All of the metal parts start flying in the sky deepper into the dessert, and this force is pulling xavier too, Hellion tries to resist and keep xavier there, but the force is too strong. Hellion flies off and xavier is flying to the tornado, and Hellion flies all of the future x's after xavier. Xavier is standing on the roof with his mechanical legs obviously magneticly attached to it, when he takes them off and falls to the floor, he sees a caped figure, and he simply asks: Magneto?.
Wolverine is awake now, and Bolivar Trask has taken those x ray pictures to logans bones and is amazed at his metal and his heling factor, Wolverine tells him something menacing, and Bolivar Trask leaves him. After that one of the guards with wolverine seems to be swallowed (dont think thes how you write this) by the floor, and logan looks and there is only his hat there, after that Shadowcat phases up and rescues him, Logan tells him how he told her not to come back, kitty tells him to shut up since he sayid he wouldnt take long and she is saving him, logan replies yes you are right (what a lousy comeback answer). When they phase out of the room they see those two guards taking Forge into custody, with him saying that he was just loking for the bathroom, and they keep him in a cell. Kiity cannot believe they captured Forge and goes after them. Inside the cell Forge says that he still has to go to the bathroom and Kitty phases in, telling him they are leaving now. In the corridor he asks Logan and Forge if any of them wants to stay any longer, maybe apply for a job here.
In the future, the caped figure, also wearing magnetos helmet reveals to be, Lorna, and when Charles calls her name she angrily answers that the name is Polaris now, and atttacks the profesor saying that he was the enemy of his father, that he chose to protect the humans that would later ruin the world. She has created this sor of heven for her, completely metallica, and with many sentinels parts, and traps the Professor with some metal. Charles says that he cared for her father, and that he just didnt approve of his approach to the mutant-human situation, and is deeply sorry for what she has lived. Polaris tells him he has no idea. The future x's arrive and star attacking her and she is way too powerfull for them, Hellion releazes Xavier from the metal trap, and Polaris creates a huge Sentinel with the parts she has and start attacking them. Bishop no longer has stored energy, and Marrow attacks it and breaks it face, with lorna reparing it, the professor screams that thye must fight lorna and not the sentinel, that they have to take of her helmet. Marrow prepares to attack and takes a bone dagger, Domino inmediately tells her that she must shot and takes the dagger, throws it at Polaris missing her, with lorna not even moving to dodge it, but the bone dagger hits the wall twice and the third hit is at lornas head in the back, throwing her helmet off.
The professor inmediately takes control, and tells her to relax that everything is cool now. We are shown what happened to Genosha. In a seemeingly normal day, fire consumes the whole island, even though we dont see any sentinels, we are led to believe that its their fault. We see Pixie watching the flames from outside her window, and we see Dazzler in the street preparing to die with other three mutants i couldnt recognize. In Magneto's palace a young Polaris comes running to her father telling her what is happening. She calls her my sweet lorna, that this is her fault that he made a mistake and that he failed everybody. She tells her she is too pure for this, and that she must go to the lower levels and stay there. He puts his helmet and his cape in her. She asks what is goingt to happen to him, and he tells her to go down, implying he is staying, and opens the floor beneath polaris droping her with her only seeing fire above the circle where she is falling. After we are shown the fire consuming Genosha. Lorna finnally leaves the lower levels and is shocked to witness how everything is burned, and there is not one person nearby, no matter how she keeps calling.
Outside of Lorna's memories she seems very vulnerable, cant remember if she starts to cry or not. She tells Charles how this was not supposed to happen, that the mutants were supposed to be free and in the paradise her father had planned, instead of living in this nightmare. Charles agrees and tells her that they are trying to fix things, and make sure that these horrible thing change, and they never happen, but they need her help, and she must let them go. She silently let go of his mechanical legs, and Hellion and Marrow put them on charles. Charles tells Lorna that as long as she keeps on living her father's dream leaves in her. That she must not give up.
She lets them go, and they are leaving in the shoulders of the big sentinel Lorna created (it reminded me of an anime, but i cant remember wich one where someone traveled in the shoulders fo someones very big, or maybe a robot) untill the get to about ten sentinels, half the normal, and the other half of them the wolverine kind. They all get destroyed magnetically. When the future x's look back they see Polaris who after saving them flies off and back to her citadel. Bishop says how she could be very usfeul to them, but Charles think that Lorna is not a warrior, and that her father knew this and tried to protect her from the fights. She's been through too much, and perhaps one day we could saver her from the prison she had built for herself.
Back in the x mansion, logan and Charles are talking about how those sentinels had some of wolverine features, and Charles says that if the sentinels start to adapt and duplicate mutant abilities they might lose this war. Wolverine says he wont allow that. End of spoilers.
An awesome episode, well not spectacular, but i enjoyed watching the future x's, by the way does anyone know if they have a name, maybe the mutant refugees or something, or anyone has a better name for them than the future x's?. Anyway also Lorna was amazing, i had never seen so much about her, besides what i had read about her spotlight her in uxn, but they showed us how she could've end up becoming after the destruction of Genosha. It just made me really like Lorna. And Polaris (Kevin) finally will see Lorna in a big and important role in the tv show.
