He looks great, man. He's a real handsome guy, but not a pretty-boy, which is why I think he has so many male fans too. No offense to any pretty-boys here but you get what I mean.

The hair's cool, it's different but cool, I guess.

lol nah, those pics of wolverine are really off. I hope the didnt even start on him whatsoever. I want him to be a little different from the rest of the X movies. Maybe have his hair even more puffed out. Maybe more beard, with a little chin hair. Just something different.

This movie is going to kick-ass. I foresee that the setting is going to be very similar to the setting used to present Wolverine's origin from the graphic novel "Origin" written by Joe Quesada and co.

Check these pics out! Hugh Jackman and Liev Schreiber wearing Elusiv in late February while in Dunedin when they were filming for the latest X-Men movie.

They were awesome guys, really relaxed and loved the Ts, they wore them more than once while trying to get big in the gym. We would like to thank them for their generosity in letting us take the photo

Apparently the filming in Dunedin was for a fight scene between Wolverine (Jackman) and Sabretooth (Schreiber). I don’t imagine Wolverine would be very subtle, discreet, or elusive in this fight…

Hugh and Liev know each other well - they both starred in KATE & LEOPOLD and Hugh was hosting the Tony Awards and was onstage when Billy Crystal announced Liev as the winner for Best Featured Actor in a Play in 2005.

I sometimes wonder if that friendship came into play in Liev getting the role.

I agree - I was a little concerned about the casting but Liev's size looks pretty good standing next to Hugh.

LOG CABIN: Set or filing of new movie, X Men Orgins: Wolverine.

But perhaps the biggest thrill was watching workmen assemble a very authentic looking log cab on the mountain top ready for filming of the new X Men Origins: Wolverine movie which I was given to understand was starting the following week. Sadly I couldn’t be there to welcome Hugh Jackman to the set. I’m sure he would have conceded to an interview with me!

At a screening at Fox Studios for Shutter and Babylon A.D and this is what we see on the way in. We looked around but couldn't crash the party.

We did meet Hugh Jackman the week earlier in costume for Australia waiting for a coffee at the cafe. We were too scared to say hi or take a photo.

Yeah, those are some great pictures. Again, I'm really liking the scenery around the barn--the mountains, the woods, everything. It's awesome and very Wolverine like.

They even gave us some biccies as we drove past. Our driver is the nice chatty sort, made some useful friends (anyone with biscuits)

Movie Stars

I've been to Paradise, but I've never been to me. Whatever that means.

I have actually been to Paradise. Evidence presented here. Notice the 'No Exit' addition to the sign for paradise. Why would you want to leave anyway. Only 2 permananent resisdences in Paradise. Imagine having the address 1 Paradise. How cool would that be. Anyway, since it's laregly deserted, and pretty stunning, it's well used for filming. They were just finishing off filming Wolverine, sequel to X-Men Trillogy. If we'd hung around all day, we may even have got to see them blow a car up, but they were waiting for the right light os something. Was a very long walk home so not tempted to hang around. I also saw a genuine movie star. Nicely manicured tail. They also filmed The Chronicles of Narnia here.
Nice bloke giving us a tour of Glenorchy and Paradise. Few miles outside Queenstown in the South of the South Island. Hads lots of nice stories. They'll come in a later blog. He took us for a drink in the Glenorchy Hotel. Hot choc and nice company on a sunny day in Paradise. What more could you ask for.

Those are great pics!I'm not following shooting for this movie as close as I was "Dark Knight", but I wanted to supplement your pics with some my mom took. She was in Australia and New Zealand for the past two weeks on vacation and came back last night. She says that while in NZ she and her friends went sightseeing and came across filming for "some X-Men movie" (as she says, hehe). They didn't get to see Hugh Jackman or anyone, but his stunt double on the motorcycle posed for some pics. Hope you guys enjoy! Don't ask me anything about what they were filming cause I have no idea. I just know from the pictures that there was a motorcycle and a helicopter.
