Psyshics? Oh right lol!

Do I need to go on? ;)

XWolverine2 , YOU missed something , I didn't ;)
14th of MAY COME ON!

those all have excuses for the defiance. but none of them suddenly appear out of thin air with out explanation. wolverine suddenly stepping out from behind the sentinel head is unexplained.

No , nothing important. We've seen most of it in trailers ... it lasts longer though. Magneto ripping the cables and twisting the bridge :)

Collosus looked SLIGHTLY different. Less shiny and a darker look at the hair. I dont know if you people saw X-MEN Evolution but that kind of Metal-up sound can be heared ( Somewhat similair to X² )
Thanks Wolverini.

Hey if you want 200 more pages of Negativity, B!tc#ing, and moaning then by all means go ahead.
*****ing and negativity is also known as artistic critiquing when we are putting our thoughts in a thread just for OUR THOUGHTS

MY CONCLUSION :

The footage is older than the latest TRAILER!

if this IS the case i will do a happy dance that would make river dancing seem lame! Wait???????? *think about that statement*

Dont worry guys ... I aint gonna lie about this stuff cuz im a big fan myself :) Im just telling you all what I've seen. Remember the movie is 1 month before release and is still in Production. CGI effects need to be done , sounds need to be added and so forth

The clip on Leno was just to tease us. Remember the first X3 trailer and the second? There were significant changes in them. Dont worry , you'll be blown away once Apple / X3 website uploads these in High Quality ( and the proper cutting :p )

It was crudely cut together. It won't be like that in the movie. FFS

Nope im sure there's a fine line.

the fine line is "opinion that you like" and "opinions that you dont" which have nothing to do with anything substantial but more personal

I got invited for a press screening. I've seen some clips ( including the Golden Gate sequence and Sentinel one ) in advance. Mine looked different.

The Sentinel clip had different music , faster pacing and some other stuff. For example a Sentinel leg sticking through the thick smoke. The white lights where red/orange :)

So yea! Come on MAY 14th!

i was thinking more in comparison to Condeming a movie based of 58 seconds.

He had a very detailed post as to why this is not a good action sequence. It is on the previous page. Check it out.

Yeah.. but the same thing still applies - you've seen 58 seconds of a large sequence. Regardless of how good that persons post was, it's a fact.

I know honesly that clip was probably given to Leno's production team weeks in advance.. I have no doubt that scene will be at least a little be different.

Why would it be given weeks in advance? Does it take that long to put a scene on film?

Exactly. Even the X2 trailer had things different to the film. In the opening at Bobby Drake's house, Rogue says "You should see what he can do" and the 'he' is so obviously edited because in the final film she says "You should see what Bobby can do."

I'm 80% sure that that scene will play out different when we see it in the final film. They just wanted to cut it into under a minute for Leno's show.

you have a lot of work and a girlfriend? i love when people come on here and say things like that. Today is my only day off all week... my girlfriend is lying behind me asleep after a long night of romping around--- a still post just fine, and you are the one that found time to read through about 100 pages so you can comment about "how much more of a life that you have"
Actually, I only read the posts that respond to mine and take a quick look at the page I´m in. If I read all this, I´d inevitably get to the conclusion that Western Civilization is doomed and the terrorists are right. There WAS a time when I´d read all that stuff and get into endless arguments... I just don´t have time or patience for that anymore.

I find it incredibly amusing to read these comments heavily critiquing the acting. After all, we most certainly are able to judge an entire performance based solely off of a choppy TV show clip. Perhaps what's even more amusing is the seemingly trained knowledge of acting some of you seem to posses. Skills? Delivery? How else, if not with inflated urgency, should any of these lines be presented? The performances in this clip were ultimately no better or worse than anything we've come to find within the X-Men films. In relation to Halle Berry, who appears entirely confident…I suppose it's fair to criticize her "decreased presence" as Storm, right? Considering the total amount of words spoken in this scene nearly match, if not exceed, her entire presence in the first film alone?

This clip played fair so as to intrigue and spark the curiosity of an audience…an audience that may very well seek to enjoy a story with no idea what a sentinel is, and certainly no pre-conceptions of how one should or could have looked. My argument may come at the back end of this discussion, but I am simply confused at some of your rash reactions. Considering the obvious time spent on over analyzing an incomplete scene, and forming your opinions on a forum, I would imagine we are here to support X3. Contrary, this doesn’t seem to be the case. Some of you fail to realize that it may be a while before we have a chance to complain about anything X-Men (film) related at all.

We're judging the whole performance, we're just judging the acting that we see in this particular clip...and in this clip it's kinda wooden. Plus no matter how many times you guys cry "it's unfinished," that wont take away the fact that the dialogue is pretty bad itself.

omg dont forget the looney toons music.

I think the question shood be, why use a chopped up, unfinished cgi, with hokey cartoon music behind it to intrigue the audience. Wouldn't that repulse them instead?

I'm not here to support a movie that's not out yet, just speculate and get new info about it. When it's out and it's good and makes me spill semen, then i'll support it with return viewings etc....

Eh. I thought the dialogue was fine. It fit well. I don't get this. Every non-comic book fan I've shown this to thought it was awesome and started asking me more and more questions about it, the studio audience thought it was great, and here we are nitpicking it to death and calling it the worst thing we've ever seen. I really think this all boils down to our expectations being too high because the people that didn't even know this movie was being made seem to love it.

I won't prejudge the film. But if that clip is indicative of the rest of the movie then the acting and script are horrible...this director (Ratner) was not able to get a performance out of his actors in that scene at all.
