Two simple things would improve the scene:

-actual music, or just no music
-Halle stopped talking after her "they're not ready" line.

The others are more expensive:
-actually fighting the Sentinel
-Colossus not looking really unfinished

That music didn't fit in the scene at all. Added to the cheesefactor.

I agree with other comments that Colossus looks like a robot but that whole scene wasn't working in general.

Dialogue was silly.

I actually didn't have a problem with the Head design in the final part of the clip, rather, that if you look around the space it occupied.... there was NO indication of where it was or how close it was..... which leads me to beleive there might be some CGI to be added that would fill in the gaps.



I really dug how wolvie just walked around from behind like it wasn't a thing........... But by doing so it drew attention and left mne wondering , "WHERES THE REST OF THAT THING?"

I dont have a problem with the head design either. The Sentinel just doesnt feel like a real thing. Its fog, and then a head falls out of the sky.

dude, I was really excited to see this clip. When I saw it I was like.... meh. In contrast, I loved the trailer when I saw it. But a trailer is just pieces of scenes. This is a full scene and I was really underwhelmed.

I actually prefered the execution of this scene (although we couldn't see the sentinel properly). It was fast paced - as it should be. Being early in the film I don't think they would give away all the Sentinel surprises at this stage.

EDIT: Colosuss seems to have grown a few feet. He's towering over Logan. And Strom has more decent lines. Hurray! I can think a few shots they could insert to that scene.

sorry to burst your bubble, but have you ever seen a sentinel in the comic books?

Of course,remember not everything in a comic adaptation can stay the same as the comic,the translation has to work,comics and live action are completely different, so looking great on page doesn't mean or asure its gonna look great onscreen. besides they could have remained faithful to the look of the comics but create a more spectacular this sentinel head doesn't look realistic,it looks more like a toy.

You're so right. The only thing people are gonna complain about is it being cheesy, the music, Colloso(sp?), and Storm (most importantly).

Oh come on, I think the clip is fantastic. The movie will hold up to expectation. Fan-boys will be wetting in their short when opening day comes for X3. The only thing that could have shown more is of the Sentinel, showing the whole body would be more better. I agreed with some people that this seemed like a very incomplete scene.


Bryan Singer should never have gone to do Superfag Returns if you asked me, who is the villian again for that movie again? Lex Luthor? come on. And how come they waited so long to show the general public a trailer of the movie? because they saw X3 trailer and don't know what to do now plus they had such an ealrier production start time than X3. X3 was rushed but then again Ice Age 2 was rushed too and looked how that turned out.
