Wolverine VS. Sentinel clip

I don't know if it looks like this because we're only seeing a clip, but the scence moves to fast it feels like i'm watching a Xmen TV commercial or something.

You can sit here and defend something that people are going to constantly complain about. What is a more appropriate term then...maybe complainist?

The clip was shown about an hour and a half ago. Constantly complaining????

Um, no. Perhaps previous complaints that were really presumptions are being aired again in light of new, substantiated proof. But still, that's still not complaining, that's now criticism based on actua evidence. In either case, no one is constantly complaining.

Two, doesn't give you a right to call people that. Plain and simple. You owe an apology. Its against board rules, plain and simple.

I don't think anythingr eally needs fixed in this scene other than to fill in the cut parts, to see in its planned context, and for the right music.

dude, I was really excited to see this clip. When I saw it I was like.... meh. In contrast, I loved the trailer when I saw it. But a trailer is just pieces of scenes. This is a full scene and I was really underwhelmed.

This is not a full scene.

so would you call yourself a cheerleader? No? Then why cant other people post what they think of the clip? I didnt make myself not like the clip. I just didnt like it.
Cheerleader isn't bad:) This is a rehash of the debate over the film length that cause so much controversy and complaining that it got really old, really quick. This will be the same exact thing. You don't have to sit in here and restate what you didn't like in different words just to get your anger out.

Of course, remember not everything in a comic adaptation can stay the same as the comic, the translation has to work, comics and live action are completely different, so looking great on page doesn't mean or asure its gonna look great onscreen. besides they could have remained faithful to the look of the comics but create a more spectacular this sentinel head doesn't look realistic,it looks more like a toy.

im well aware of that, im sure ratner is. He could go to town with a sentinel if he wanted ala the design of Lost in Space movie but he went for a faithful path, as if everything was jumping out of the comics, because that is the MARVEL approach.

We'll see if it pays off. meaning have to see everything in context.

Agreed. Just be happy your getting an X3 @ssholes.
Yes, we are all that and we still post here for some reason.

BTW, Bosef. . .

Wolverine doesn't appear magically from behind the head of the robot. The head drops (while Logan most likely drops somewhere else), and Logan walks up from behind it.

I dont have a problem with the head design either. The Sentinel just doesnt feel like a real thing. Its fog, and then a head falls out of the sky.

Oops, my last post wasn't pointing towards the idea that you dislike the design....

In a long way around I was trying to point out that It seemed to feel " OPEN" like ( intenetionally) there was something missing and might be some CGI that might be added . ( I just see maybe a sentinel body dropping to its knees after the head falls .... or something to that effect. )

I am glad someone agrees with me...a lot of people are leaving these boards for that exact reason.

yes I'm lowering my expectations now. I told my self that a trailer could make a turd look like delicious chocolate fudge cake, but I still put my hopes up for this movie thinking it'd be on par or better than x1 at least... i'm going to take a step back and be more realistic...

there's nothing wrong with a healthy debate, as long as everyoned plays nice disorder in order and all that.

people are being picky though.

You should see the Spider-Man boards. There worse than this!

The music is at least 30% of the problem. Its terrible and I really hope they change it, because its an easy fix. Hell just cut it out altogether. It'll add to the menace.

When they show clips from a movie on tv it's usually different from what you end up seeing in the cinemas.

plus, since this is probably the danger room scene..... the danger room isn't the REAL REAL thing, it's basically just practice and you know..... it's just made for practice, so they might have made it look kinda cheap cause they are in the danger room. It's like an illusion almost.....

i may not be true.... but I thought i'd throw that in there.

I know....that is why I don't go there anymore. This is or is becoming less of that, the most civilized and orderly board on here.
