I dont really like her. She reminds me a lot of Blunt and i dont her either.

She's not really like Blunt. Tanit is a lot warmer (especially since she is South African as opposed to British) and has a fresher, sexier look. She reminds me more of Catherine Bell looks wise. I really like her for the role.

There are lenses for it. Plus great actors who have played comic book characters have had far more noticeable differences than that.

Does Every time someone will bring up a new nominee, who's not Bridget Regan, that will get some buzz here, you and the rest of Regan fans will have to come here and post another Regan photo/illustration/etc. as Wonder Woman and "new" exalting posts about her?
Why can't you peole accept the fact there are a lot of people out there, who will never think about Regan like you do?

To be fair, a vocal minority, such as Regan supporters, would be the ones producing the fan art, since they have the passion to go make it rather than just request it.

I include this video to show that she sucked five years ago, which means she's getting better. Also, she seems to have a real handle on a lot of different accents and languages. Fun times to be had.

Tanit's not perfect for the role, but her qualifications just keep going on and on. Even her inexperience (not to be confused with lack of talent or skill), turns out to be the very thing that makes her exceptionally affordable. I echo your feelings of "Bridget who?"

I dont get this fascination with Tanit, when pre-production started on the justice league film we got the news that Megan Gale was cast as WW and there was this huge negative reaction towards her because of her inexperience and the fact she didnt look the part at all, all of the negatives about Gale can be said about Phoenix is not more so, yes she's somewhat attractive but that automatically makes her a front runner? Some people wanted to see Gale as WW, some didn't. I don't see the difference.

It's a tv show. Having an unknown, inexperienced actress/actor isn't as big a dealbreaker for most I think.

Fanboys always say that about these actresses. The truth of the matter is that they really haven't seen these women act and hence their reaction. From the screen tests posted of her it seems like Tanit can act. Not only that, but she can act in multiple accents. That is something not very many actors can do (Meryl Streep is one that comes to mind right now). That aside, it looks to me that the WB/DC Entertainment is serious about the person they want for the lead role in the series and they want an unknown.

It´s always hilarious when geeks on the Internet get disdainful on hot women´s looks. You´d imagine they´re kicking supermodels out of their beds every other night.

And I remember actually seeing much support for Gale, myself included. The biggest problem was that whole project was crap.

I didnt mean she's not attractive because yes she's hot she has the model thing going for her but does that really make her right for the role? I mean for god sake i right now can pull off about 10 different accents does that mean im a good actor i dont think so. Im not a WW fanboy by any means, i just think the character hardly gets any respect outside of the comic book genre. If you wanna make WW look good, especially in a series you would think they would cast someone with much more experience and not some hot model that thinks she can act because she can do a few accents, i think that alone makes the WW character look pretty bad. You would think that this tv series if anything would be a launching pad for the WW character to be adapted on the big screen. By what we know already this thing is going to flop, they have the ally mcbeal producer behind it and now a straight up model is attached to play WW? Really, they should be looking into actresses first and for most, women that can act first. If they cant find a actual actress for the series then scrap it completely, why damage the character's rep when studios are already skeptic about the character, it'll just damage the already slim chances of seeing a WW film anytime soon.

Um... Tanit is A) Attractive, B) Looks like Diana C) Is proven to be a skilled actress. That cannot be said of any of those other actresses. In fact, of the four, Tanit has the most film experience. And the model approach worked QUITE well for Smallville, which sucked only because it had to artificially prevent him from being Superman. Tanit's more experienced than Tom was when he started too.

There's no actress in existance who A) Looks like Diana B) Has much more experience and C) Is affordable on a TV show budget.

Regardless, I think you're living on a different planet when Tanit is a "straight up model" and is already attached rather than rumored. You also live on a planet where there is ANY chance of a WW movie currently. And if you can pull of ten different accents convincingly, I can make you some money, even on youtube, because people will pay to see that kind of talent.
