BvS Wonder Women related scene at the end of the movie?

Speaking of shared universe. I had mentioned this before in the "Arrow" thread. But, they could really use that show to setup secondary characters for a Justice League movie. I know Arrow gets a lot of crap. But, I think the show is pretty good. With a little boost in budget. I think it could be a great way to show characters that wouldn't get a movie. I know Arrow has a few of the comic writers either advising or writing for them already.

it makes logistical sense but that's a relatively new concept to wb.

I haven't caught Arrow yet. I'm one of those people that waits a few years to watch several seasons of shows in a row.

From what I understand is that it's a good show, but turns a lot of people off with the amount of killing that Oliver commits. Once again, I haven't seen it. Would that be an issue?

One other point is that WB would need to commit to the actors on the big screen - specifically the Flash. I don't know what to expect.

When they first announced "Arrow". I was a bit hesitant. I was a fan of "Smallville" and was surprised they went with GA. But, I gave it a shot. It's really good. As always their are some sucky episodes. But, you really see how he goes from just wanting to get those people on the list to becoming a hero. You see how he is hesitant to deviate from the names on the list. But, his friend who is helping him tells him that he has a duty to help others. Now, with a very big death at the end of season 1. The writers have said they are going to show his change from the Hood to Green Arrow. Plus, the flashback scenes to him on the island and how he trained is good also.

I found it to be obnoxious when Marvel did it... I'm sure as hell not interested in seeing DC follow suit. Frankly, I don't think there needs to be a justification spread across several movies as to why there's a Justice League. The DCAU handled it quite well without having a huge build-up to it in their Superman/Batman cartoons (even though those did have an occasional guest hero/villain). The explanation for the League's existence could be covered in just a few minutes within the JL movie itself.

I'd be fine with an Easter egg here and there, but copying Marvel move for move would be pathetic and desperate.

I wouldn't mind it if Green Arrow's origin is treated as a redemption story. Those are pretty rare in super-hero movies.

WW needs every boost she can get. There hasn't been a quality female-driven superhero movie yet.

I want to clarify that I'm not opposed to Wonder Woman being in the film, even if it's just a cameo. But I just don't want it to be done in such a way that she's being tacked on at the end of the film; that both demeans her as a character and lessens the film as a whole. In particular, I'm thinking of the way that Marvel handled Captain America... it started out as a great movie about Cap and it stayed that way throughout most of the film, until it got to the ending and it ceased to be Cap's movie and became an Avengers teaser.

I guess what I'm saying is, since this is a Batman and Superman movie, I want it to be about them. If they want to show that there are other such characters existing in this universe, that's fine too. But for the moment, the focus should be on those two, and it shouldn't turn into a teaser for another movie at the last minute.

In the "Smallville: Season 11" comics we see Wonder Woman/Diana has left her island and is in America, trying to track down her mother. (SPOILERS) Diana saves the life of Martha Kent (now a senator), so attracts the attention of Clark/Superman, Lois Lane and the media, as well as the Department of Extranormal Operations (D.E.O.), a secret organisation that keeps an eye on metahumans and is involved in the disappearance of Diana's mother.

Something similar could be done in the movies, where Diana comes to America and is tied in to the plot involving Superman and Batman, rather than focusing on Diana's life on the island.

An easter egg of some kind would be better. I kinda liked what Smallville did once. In a scene where someone was reading a newspaper, they put it down and you could read the headline that said something like " Themiscyran Ambassador Addresses United Nations Assembly". I'd like something subtle like that and not something overtly blatant.

Is Themyscira meant to be a secret in the comics, or an actual known place to the World?

Themyscira really only becomes known (if at all) when Wonder Woman becomes known, and she becomes the ambassador for Themyscira.

In terms of the "Smallville" show, that newspaper reference isn't really expanded upon and the only vague reference is when Chloe Sullivan tells Clark of a "wonderous woman" she met while travelling the world. It is only now in the Smallville comics is Themyscira more explored/confirmed.

I wonder if Bruce could even reference that this world has more than the public knows about, based on info from the Wayne Enterprises satellites. No more explanation needed, but it does show that he's looking for others.

Maybe that's where Faora was sent, Themyscira. Wasn't the phantom zone just another plane of existence? They could tie Themyscira with MOS that way.

A fight between Wonder Woman and Faora would be so epic. If only...

It'd be a good way to get some of that MOS crowd as well, Faora was well liked. She could stand as the villain of a solo WW movie and be what connects MOS to WW.

Maybe WB's can take it another direction? Possibly a Themiscara vs Atlantis movie in which the Phantom Zone gets opened by Ares? This introduces two popular superheroes and Greek mythology into the MoS universe all in one epic movie. I wish, heh.

Too bloated.

I'd lead off with the backstory to the war being narrated by Ares. That introduces Diana, Ares and Aquaman within the first 5 minutes. I dunno! :oldrazz:

Simplify is the word we need there :hehe:

I'll simplify you is what I'd say if I didn't have anything more clever to say.

I just really want that movie to happen. :woot:

I like to think that Bruce's love interest in this film will be revealed to be Diana.

I don't want a huge presence from Diana. Maybe something after the climax, but before end credits. Maybe Affleck as Bruce Wayne, getting ready to attend a public event, he takes her arm and says something like 'Diana, its wonderful seeing you' and fade to black or something.
