Face it, Simon is a very important Avenger who had impacted the history of the team for decades.

Has Marvel Studios some plans about adapting Wonder Man for the big screen?

There was 1 cut scene from Guardians 2 involving a film festival taking place in Peter Quill's hometown. It had James Gunn's friend Nathan Fillion plastered on a bunch of fake movie posters as the actor Simon Williams aka Wonder Man. A fun easter egg that never came to fruition.

Nathan Fillion put up 1 of the posters followed by James gunn releasing the rest online. Some set photos feature the theater with all the posters on it in the background appeared online as well. However, Marvel Studio's never really included any of this on any of the disc or digital home releases I don't believe so answer is probably no especially with how many other movies seem to be on the table.

He's the number one person I'm rooting for to be introduced in Phase 4.

yeah we may have to come up with a new term for the next "Phase"
Feige said what comes after endgame is different than the original 'phase' structure

maybe eras? Phases 1-3 are the Ferro-Hominum Era... to be followed by the.. Felinus-Locus era??
lol idk

Imo Wonder Man making it to the big screen is about as likely as Captain Marvel Junior or Mary Marvel making it to the big screen over at dc

Um, isn't Mary Marvel in Shazam?

I hope they do. As you said he's a classic Avenger, and Captain Marvel could definitely use a love interest. :sly:

If they did have Wonder Man in the MCU, I don't want an out of shape buffoon like Nathan Fillion portraying him.

Maybe Henry Cavill could take up the role since he's probably not in the DCEU anymore. It could be one that suits him.

That's funny because Henry Cavill would be my choice the role too. A lot of people want him to play Sentry or Hyperion (because you know, they're Superman knock-offs! And he played Superman!), but I'd rather see him in a role that would allow him to stretch his acting abilities. Plus he just looks the part.
Dunno but if she is she isn't getting that moniker
And Wonder Man doesn't have to be called Wonder Man

I think he can be called Wonder Man, even in jest. First off, he was a movie stunt man and actor. People could refer to him as that within the film as a wink to Wonder Woman, even if he doesn't like it.

If he always escapes from these dangerous stunts unscathed, some director could first say "Our Boy Wonder here is a the perfect stuntman." Then he could reply that he's not a boy. Then the director could say "Okay, then our Wonder Man here is the perfect stuntman. Or would you prefer Wonder Woman?" Then he could answer "Er.. no, man is fine."

It would be like how Tony Stark referred to Hawkeye as "Legolas" in the Avengers, or Thor as "Point Break."

That would be cool.

Can we get a film adaptation of the other Wonder Man?

If we did get Wonder Man in the MCU, I either want him to have his original green and red costume with the helmet and red goggles, his red safari jacket or his black and blue costume with the W on his chest.

I also prefer that he wears sunglasses to having the ionic glowing eyes. He can take them off occasionally, of course.

The safari jacket isn't a difficult look to do, and he could easily wear that over the black and blue costume with the W to change up his look, or even when he's dressed more casually.

I don't want his red and green Christmas tree outfit from West Coast Avengers though. That was his worst costume. And I don't really want him being in purple ionic form all the time either. They probably wouldn't do that anyway as it would require constant CGI and would cost money.
