BvS Would Richard Grayson be part of this movie? - Part 1

Going back to the good guys left in Gotham part of the dialogue I firmly believe it's in reference not only to Dent but to Todd as well. Robin goes rogue shortly before being captured by the Joker.

Did that happen in the comic? It's been so long, I don't remember.

What's great is how often people used to claim Robin could never be included a serious Batman franchise. I laugh in the faces of those people.

Whenever people post that I simply know they've never read Dark Victory.

Agreed, I think a solo Nightwing film would rock. Only thing that makes me wonder is with the Teen Titans TV series maybe that's how they were able to use Dick Grayson because the movies weren't.

The thing is the TV and movie universes are supposed toi be separate. I'd also much prefer to see a Nightwing movie and to see him in a Batman movie, than seeing him on Teen Titans.

I've seen some people saying that Jason Todd breaks into the Batcave and vandalizes it. Same people say that Jason Todd sends the newspaper to Bruce. I'm not buying it. Other people say Lex does that. I'm not buying that either. I absolutely think it's Joker who does that (and I don't think he'll have any other presence in the movie).

If it was red hood/jason, they would have saved it for his appearance. It's Joker, to connect to SS or Bruce is delusional.

Hadn't seen those, but it seems clear you're right about the graffiti. My post with the "Ha Ha" said it was too obvious because we see it so much already - with the Joker's tattoos.

I do, however, believe the Joker sent the family letter to Bruce. The lettering seems similar, and it's a brutal thing to do. I suspect Joker knows Batman's identity in this universe.

Same.

It's interesting how much this is pretty much the Batsuit (texture, musculature, etc.), but made with average Robin elements. The "R" looks weird to me, though.

I think it's not just an "R", but a stylized bird image. I see what might be a beak/head, wings and a tail feather section.

That's how I choose to look at it, at least.

That'd be great. Maybe after he says that line he gives a list of the people, like, "Just look at what happened to Dent, or what happened to Jim(or Gordon) and Jason" Maybe even say Barbra?

I was thinking that too. But, I can't make out what it is if it's not just an "R".

Just an opinion. Felt it could be simpler, "cleaner."

Perhaps the way to handle the death is simply to say "Robin died" without saying which one. Then, in the solo film, whether it's Dick or Jason can be explored.

I think it feels right. Simple and clean aren't words I'd use to describe anything joker does. Its obnoxious, loud, and dirty.

It does look like a stylized bird. Kinda look a professional sports team logo would be styled.

I'm willing to bet money on it the name Jason Todd is never once going to be mentioned in this series.

RIP Richy.

Whether they use Todd, Grayson, or Drake they're seemingly using A Death In The Family cues. Big feeling they're setting up a mixture of that story along with Under the Red Hood as Affleck's solo outing.

A Death In The Family has some big geopolitical stuff going on which is right up Ben's alley.

Well guys the suit doesn't have pants look at the bottom after the belt

Yeah it's got like..weird tight shorts, could almost call them briefs! Not.A.Fan.

I'd like Taron Egerton to play either Dick or Tim. I thought he was great in Kingsman and is in great shape. He's way too young for Dick.
Why do you want Taron to play Dick if he's too old for the character? Are you sure you don't mean Jason?

So, a man, a fully grown, MAN, wore that awesome looking costume...with tiny shorts?

Badass

Ha sleeves and short shorts. Can't tell if Snyder is being a bit too faithful to the source material! :P

The boots do seem to have a bit of a green hinge? (at least they're not pixie boots! Snyder had to draw the line somewhere I spose!)

That's something I've been wanting to see in the movies - Batman displaying pieces of old battles in the cave, both victories and failures. How hard would it be to face that graffitied costume every day? Yet Bruce does it. I guess it provides absolute drive in his war on crime. He must truly hate the Joker's guts.
