Yes, all these professional film critics are childish fanboys who were going to hate the movie no matter what. :whatever:

These are critics, not fans.

I'm not impressed by their skills.

Gotta say guys, lots of complaints about the tone really, that seems to be the main issue, that and like the film is too convoluted for its own good. Seeing it tomorrow asap, I don't really understand any of those negative reviews for now.

I don't know why Zack can't really break through with critics overall, I love his movies.

I still have 10 fresh, 17 rotten, but the percent is 41. So I assume a positive is inbound.

This thread needs some levity (much like the film...ziiiiiing)

I expected this film to be a cross between MoS and AoU. I was right.

I think some of the things critics don't like about the film are things that the fans and audiences will like and appreciate. For example, the world building and teases/setups for future events, the action sequences, the portrayal of some major characters, etc.

Do you think this aspect rubbed critics the wrong way:

Batman-News.com ‏@BatmanNewsCom
After you see #BatmanvSuperman it'll be easy to see why there's an R-rated cut. It's very dark & violent, but they cut away to keep it PG-13

I see that critics are once again ****ting on the tone that Zack is trying to maintain. :whatever: :whatever:
Some people don't like serious stuff. JL is supposed to be lighter. I like the darker take. But light moments are good to add in the midst of everything, not jokey.

WB,

Fire Snyder, replace him with George Miller.

I'd definitely take him. Snyder cannot keep having mixed reviewed movies, espcially when you're spending 400m on them.

I'm in shock of how he can honestly mess up a movie with the Trinity. It's truly shocking to me.

I'm seeing 29% still. Not sure how RT works.

The site is borked right now. When it had 5 fresh ratings it still read zero. It is updating at weird times probably from the onslaught of reviews coming in. (and people spamming it looking for updates)

This. Which I also believe tends to be the case as well. Some of us saw this in MoS. While it was rotten on RT, I thoroughly enjoyed MoS. I knew going in it was not going to be a quirky fun movie.

Critics may be more equipped to judge a film compared to someone who doesn't know about story, cinematography, or acting, but ultimately, it's all so subjective.

Fresh is going up now at least!

....though rotten has gone down now.. somehow?

I have no idea what's going on with RT. It's showing differently in different browsers too. Somethings weirds happening.

If you havent seen it, you dont know he has messed it up.

Always remember guys, it's always the negative naysayers who want their voices heard first. We just maybe looking at a comeback ;)

Oh wow.

Next couple of days ought to be fun.

Humor is also the worst part of the MCU. :( I don't get why the MCU gets all the love, their tone is too juvenile for me. The Dceu approach sounds so much better, I stil need to see BVS to make up my mind tho
While I LOVE the MCU tone myself, I want some fricking variety! It's like these people want every CBM to have the same tone.

Honestly anyone who has a problem with a film that isn't a comedy not being funny shouldn't be reviewing anything. And unless that clip of Perry and Lois is the only humerous moment in the entire 2 1/2 ht film it isn't even humourless.

i know this will come across is dac fan boyish but i dont care

WTF is going on the early reviews wasn't just some select group of 30 people tweeting

they had an entire premiere in Mexico,New York and a LA Early Fan screening and everyone was raving

do critics just not like snyder, his dark tone and his style because i absolutely loved MOS and they killed that film to shreds with a 56% on RT

They don't like Snyder. They don't much like WB. They don't like the fact that there is a DC cinematic universe. They don't like that it's not like Marvel. They don't like that it isn't Marvel. They don't like Ben Affleck, or Henry Cavill. They don't like Jesse Eisenberg. Too many of them are so pro-Marvel that they'll automatically criticize anything DC-film related. If TDK came out post-Avengers, I'm sure they'd be criticizing that film too. I just hope that this doesn't negatively affect how much money the film makes. Because that's why these critics do what they do. Either they want to make people go see the movie, or they want to make people not see the movie.
