BvS Would Richard Grayson be part of this movie? - Part 1

About Dick's tombstone: we can see the very same one in that shot during the Waynes' funeral.

I'm betting it's another Miranda Tate tombstone thing from TDKR set.

No, we can't. It's been debunked. I'll try to go back and find the pics.

Speaking of Robin, if the next solo Batman actually managed to incorporate a Robin working alongside Batman I would respect the hell out of DC. Like seriously, this one sets up Bats being all sad about losing his partner, and the solo has him learning to move on and work with others again. Bam! Character development!

I know, those other movies with Robin were not very good to say the least, but imagine if DC could redeem themselves and actually put some resemblance of the Batfamily on the big screen!

You can clearly see the Grayson tombstone is much closer and not where it would appear in the Wayne funeral scene. Then again, in Rises, Wayne's tombstone said Miranda Tate and was changed to Wayne in post, so this could be misdirection.

Actually it looks to me like it is in the exact same position. It just appears closers in the second shot because of the perspective and angle of the camera.

Don't forget the lens. The screencap looks to have been shot with a wide angle, which makes things look further apart. The set pic, if it was a spy pic, was probably shot with a much tighter lens, which makes things, yes, you've guessed it, look closer together.

Implying those two couldn't still be the same ones, but moved a bit farther because Snyder or Fong wanted to during shooting.

What if both Dick and Jason are dead? Jason killed by Joker and Dick in Wayne Tower during the final MOS fight.

Dick freakin' Grayson not being able to escape a crumbling building is possibly the lamest outcome anyone could ever think of for the character.

Why do you think that?

i can live with todd being dead( because it makes sense plus we get under the red hood later) but having dick being dead or worse the stupid miller abomination, and possibly no tim

sorry nah im not a fan of movie robin being carrie kelly.

I'll one up you on that.

He was on the can, dropping a 2, when it happened.

He's not superhuman if he was inside a building that got chopped in half in is quickly falling, I wouldn't expect a large amount of people to survive that.

Yet somehow I get the sense that people would expect that Bats would be able to. And if Bats can do it, why shoudlnt Dick be able to?

eehh those are the same tombstones, they just look in different positions because of the angle, or maybe the production re arranged the location a little bit by the time of shooting (it is not the only thing that looks a little different).

Anyway, the whole theory of it "being a different tombstone" because it looks in a different position holds no weight when one becomes even more logical and recognize that, postion or not, is the same tombstone, why would a Grayson tombstone exist on the Waynes Funeral (with only two tombstones, btw)?

I wonder why film makers are so hesitant to show the bat family?

Well, we don't know that for sure yet regarding Zack Snyder, at least we know he aknowledges Robin as part of the Batman Mythos, that is a good start.

Let's not forget when they did the Bruce Wayne funeral scene for The Dark Knight Rises that the gravestone said Miranda Tate during production.

that's true

i even remember that Christian Bale was on set when they were filming that scene as to divert any speculation

hopefully that's the case as well

All this tells me is there's a Weeping Angel in the Wayne cemetary...

I'd love to see Affleck's The Batman shape up to be a cross between A Lonely Place of Dying and Under the Red Hood.
