Next time, do an IP check before jumping to conclusions. MJD isnt Kane.

I just talked to him on aim, he only uses hollywoodland, the mods closed the others.
I don't even know who Kane is.

Um... I think you've got it reversed. Shouldn't you be asking the dissenters that question? Here, lemme help...
Does it bother YOU that a $204M blockbuster film *about* Superman is apparently less popular with mass audiences than a popcorn film based on a Disney theme park ride, or a hackneyed comedy about working for a hard-nosed fashionista?
Since when does the box-office dictate how good a film is. Hell Citzen Kane bombed when it opened, there's been plenty of films not even liked untill long after they came out.
Does it bother YOU that the only film the TV show actor headlined made back its production budget at the domestic B.O. in NINE days, while a film directed by Bryan-X-Men-Singer can't seem to do the same without divine intervention?
I take it your talking about Fog, never seen it every review I read of it it got either one star or in one occasion a simple "OUCH"
Does it bother YOU that the actor who was chosen to headline the film can't act his way out of a phone booth, never less do a shirt rip in one?
The guy can act, so moving on
Does it bother YOU that at least four names in the "no" list above (Hal Jordan 8472, Hollywoodland, Silver Lad and Vandal Savage) are the same person?
Why would it?
Now I have a question for you, how does any of the post disprove what I said, just because Superman Returns didn't do so well doesn't automatically mean that a Smallville movie is going to be great?
I like Smallville, hell I prefer it to Superman Returns which was average at best. But lets be realistic here, there TV actors who will occasionally support major stars in major movies but thats the best they can hope for. Does it make them bad actors? No. Dennis Franz is a terrefic actor but he's only starred in TV shows like NYPD Blue and is in the occasional movie like Die Hard 2.
This dicussion happens with nearly every TV show like this, their fans put to much stock in the acting ablities of the stars, I remember I few years ago when Angel was still on fans were talking about its stars as if they were the future Tom Cruise's and Nicole Kidmans, David Boreanaz was piped to play Superman, Amy Acker was up for Lois Lane and Alexis Deniof was actually mentioned as a canidate for the Joker. What happened? Dvae is in a half decent cop show with an extra from Spider-Man 2, Amy is sometimes on Allias, Chrisma is on charmed and I haven't even heard of the rest doing anything.
Face facts they're just not good enough and no small but loyal fanbase will change that.
