Just wanna thank everyone who showed up who wasn't an *******. It was fun :)

(By the way, what happened to everyone? I and several others broke off from the main group because whoever was leading didn't pass on the instructions, and it seemed like we were on a wild goose hunt. Me and about 10 others doubled back and got the numbers for the safe, and we were almost late getting to the trailer. Where'd the rest of you go?)

The first number was 76? Whoever kept telling everyone it was 10 should be ashamed.

Nice seeing everyone out there, and I can't wait to hang with you guys again!

It was 76 because whoever led the group didn't notice that there were four sets of stairs... 19 steps each... >_<!!!

4 x 19 = 76 ... where does a "10" fall into it :whatever:

lol - oh well, thankfully we made it in time (glad your Dad was on the phone to help us!)

Hey Alixyveth, thanks for actually looking back at the stuff for us. I was a little skeptical when the group first came back and proclaimed that the number of the steps was 10... but I didn't want to make fun of anyone's counting skills.

The whole thing did kind of turn into traveling herd thing - but it was fun nonetheless.

Yep. I was the obnoxious loud *****e who won opportunity to carry the reel to the theater. Sweet.

I am really excited about my joker card though. Huge fan.

must say i was pretty dissapointed in some hypers.

bad form:down:

Next event let's just keep the SHH folks completely separate so we can independently verify any information coming down the pipe.

Hey, I was just relaying the info my clown was giving me. I'm in AZ, so it's kinda hard for me to count the steps on my own! :)

To my credit, I also said the number could be 40 (10 x 4 sets of steps), and I was also the person who eventually cracked the San Fran safe by trying every single stupid combination until the thing opened.

So, yeah, thanks. :P

Totally taiko. My ground goon told me 10 as well. I assume our goons heard others say the "magic" number. We had some awesome teamwork last night! Go SAN FRAN ORACLES!

For what it's worth I had a great time meeting all you guys.

Anyone who wants to get together for lunch/dinner/beer in the Bay Area (I live in Santa Clara, but have car will travel, capiche?) hit me up some time. I wanted to try to get some folks together yesterday to grab a bite, but my friend had to take her son home.

In what way? What'd they do?
well they didnt stick together at all, they left quite a but of people behind and off in random parts.

idk bad team work,

and im sorry but some of these people are jerks in person.

oh well.

im dont b****in about it.

we got our reward.

:woot:

yeah man you YOU were cool as hell, u reminded me of my friends brother. haha.

Did anyone else get where those guys with the video camera were from?

I asked them and they said TV.com and CNET

Just wondering if/when a report about the SF hunt may appear.

Sounds it. They were in it for themselves, no doubt.

^at least i had a kick ass oracle who helped me get where i needed

Thanks!

But seriously, let's all grab a bite or something when there's no event going on. Give everyone a chance to meet and get to know each other. It'd be fun, and it would help us work better as a team if there are any future events.

Also, anyone in need of a good comic shop, my girlfriend (the little redhead I was with) works at Legends in Vallco.

^cool man. well i go to school in SF, so maybe we can hook up then

I was lead the wrong way by my Oracle, who really didn't seem to have any idea what the hell was going on. I didn't inform the group that I was going the other way because I had a serious feeling that well, it was the wrong way. Looks like I was right. ^^;; Ah well, stuff happens. My boyfriend at least got to see it.

Also, totally would have made it if my buddy hadn't had to stop to use the bathroom. /headdesk.

By the way...I met up with Carolina there and forgot to exchange information with her. Callin her out because I didn't get a chance to find out her SSH tag.

There was a lot of running ahead and leaving behind...which lead to taking the wrong number at face (ha) value.

Good job to Taiko- she was my pal's oracle and good job to IHateBees who was two oracles at once!

Talldog- I'm coming to you guys. I live in Sunnyvale and my comic shop (TFAW its near my work) is shutting down!
