Hey everyone, I had a great time! (I was the one who's friend got kicked out because of her dog, sad :( ) Thanks Alixyveth for getting us there!

No problem... I'm glad a bunch of Hypers got in. At least, I think we did. Gotta stick together!

I'll have some photos of the trip up on photobucket this afternoon.

Nice pics, though I'd be reluctant to put a card of a guy dropping a deuce in my mouth.

I've noticed that out of all the photos I've seen from the SF event, I am in exactly one of them, but my gf is in quite a few more. Interesting.

I claim discrimination based on cuteness.

So, what theatre was this at? And I am sad I could not make. But work got in the way and I figured, "Hey, it'll be online too." I didn't think it be until Sunday.

But yeah, Santa Clara represent. lol

Yay! Santa Clara! That makes two of us.

It was the theater right off John Daly in Daly City.

Egads, all these photos are making me realize how gnarly my roots are... gotta fix that

Talldog, you're in Santa Clara right? Where Great America is?

Are you going to go to AMC Mercado 20 for Dark Knight? Or IMAX?

I'm sort of near Great America. I'm near the corner of Lawrence Expressway and El Camino in Santa Clara, if you know where that is.

Not sure as far as theaters go.

I'm going to the IMAX in Dublin to see (don't hate me for this) Iron Man tonight. I have no plans for Dark Knight yet, other than to get tickets for the first showing. Would probably want to see that one on IMAX as well, but if you want to put together a group viewing at the Mercado I'd be down for that.

Also, the weekend before TDK comes out I'd like to get some people over to watch Batman Begins on my huge ass TV. I think it would be a good way to get psyched up for it. I've got a small apartment (we could comfortably seat 10 or so in the living room) but I have a 42" LCD 1080P HDTV, which makes up for it.

Is it okay to hate you for seeing it 2 days earlier than I will? >:( lol. Darn you you get to see it on my birthday... but I shouldn't complain that much, since I'll see it anyways.

I never knew there was an IMAX in Dublin. I only knew about the one in the Tech Museum (in San Jose I think?).

And it's kinda far away, I can't make plans for TDK until schools' out, so I guess I'll just wait until June to see what happens. But I for sure will see it on opening day -- somehow.

You think I could come to your apartment for your BB showing?
I am underage, and I might wanna bring friends, but if that might down your fun at all, I understand. Again, a little too early, but just checking.

Also, I will be going to Great America the monday of the last week of school for me (on 6/9) in case you wanted to know. I'm not skipping class, it's a grade wide field trip. So if any of you happen to be there on that day, I might meet you.

How underage is underage? I'm a non-practicing alcoholic, so to speak. I have a problem with booze, so I don't drink anymore. So, I have no problem being around people too young to drink (my gf is 20), as I don't drink myself. Also, I smoke a little, but always outside. I don't want to stink up my apartment.

So, sure, come over. The more the merrier I say. I have no problem with it.

The IMAX at the Tech Museum doesn't really show movies, just things like INSIDE THE R CANAL. If you want movies you need to go to Dublin or the Metreon.

I don't go to Great America I am too tall for some rides. I love roller coasters, but the last time I tried to ride one the harness thing squashed me down enough to impact my spine. I couldn't walk for the rest of the day. Fun times.

I was 13 yesterday, now I'm 14... so yeah.

Actually I watched Happy Feet there. I just didn't know there were other IMAXes around the bay area that showed movies. Now I do.

Damn, that sucks.:csad:

No biggy about the GA thing. When you've broken everyone bone in your body except you hip (true story), you learn to accept there are some things you can no longer do. As long as I can still walk I'm kosher.

14 is cool, as long as you're cool (don't be a huge fanboy weirdo, don't break my stuff, don't smoke a bunch of weed in my bathroom). I used to hang with college kids and write term papers for them (for a fee) when I was younger than you.
