Sequels X-Men: First Class

This looks like a reboot. I doubt any of the last 3 movies will have any affiliation with this one.

Producers have already said it will be in continuity with the previous films.

it's not a reboot at all... if anything its just a new franchise of prequels. Much like they may make a wolverine trilogy. This is the same deal.. but with 5 x-men... the first class.

Sorry i didnt explain myself properly. I know its not a reboot.

Think of what they did for Star Wars. They had the first 3 films. and they wanted to refresh the franchise but with out losing contuity.
So they created the new trilogy.

A chance for them to do things a bit different. but its still fitting in with the contuity.

therefore Fox are using the proposed First Class and FC sequels to revive the popularity of the franchise.

so it is an unofficial reboot for the popularity of the franchise not the film content itself.

I hope they use the original cast for Scott and Jean especially. I would love to see Famke and Marsden back in those roles. I'm sure the right haircut could convey that they're younger than they we're in X1 ie Bruce Wayne in the BB flashbacks.

If Storms in it, please axe Berry. I like Halle Berry but not as Storm.

I'm fairly certain that First Class will take place soon after Wolverine ended, so, I really don't think there's much they can do to make those actors look young enough to pull off late teens.

Yes she did but i believe that was said before Wolverine was released.We all know that things change quickly in Hollywood and scripts can always be rewritten.

The feeling i'm getting is that people want to see more of Gambit and with Taylor Kitsch landing a role in another franchise i think Fox may want to capitalize on that by having him to appear in First Class.

I think Juggernaut could be the villain because this would clear up the events of X-Men 3 he could have his memory erased or something. A fight scene between him and all of the X-Men would look great on film.

I was definately praying for an X-4ish sequel that just focused on the younger X-Men.

it sounds like with the information we have thats it will be a prequel to the franchise. the producers say it will feature at least Cyclops, Jean, and Beast, but since its the movieverse Iceman ahd Angel wont appear. all the kids you see at the end of Wolverine are also up for grabs but thats about all we know.

she was confirmed in the laurne shauler donner interview cuz she had said that gambit may appear in one of the sequelz becuz him and storm had a relationship in the comics

The only way I could see them doing this is maybe...maybe...if the First class becomes a trilogy or series of its own...they show the team grow from teens (throughout the series) up to the first (Original X-Men film)...as the series progresses...I would especially love to see how Cyke became the leader...maybe recreate Cyke vs Storm from the comics...

Here are my ideas for the trilogy if it is one

X-Men First Class
-The X-Men is Professor X, Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Beast, Storm, White Queen, and Banshee. Forge should have a cameo. If Shadow King is the villain the two Psylocke twins will play a x-men 1 rogue type role.
-If Arcade is the villain Quicksilver,Toad,and the Psylockes will join him in an Amusement Park and fight the X-Men.
-Juggernaut would be a secondary who decides to kill Xavier, the X3 stuff can be cleard up when the kids work together to remove his helment and Prof.X erases his memory of him, so that he will not come after him again.

X-Men First Class 2

-Stryker could return with Sentinels who kidnap mutants for him. Mr.Sinister could help Stryker experiment with on the mutants. Gambit could appear and save Lorna Dane/little Polaris or they could both be kidnapped. Alex Summers/Havok should be kidnapped also and him and Lorna should meet and show intrest in each other. Gambit should team up with the X-Men to stop Stryker and the Sentinels. The Mauraders could be run by Stryker and Sinister.

X-Men First Class 3

-Magneto runs the Hellfire Club with Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver with him. The original hellfire club could be there also Sebastian,Selene and friends. The X-Men fight against all of them and Emma could betray the X-Men and join the club being fed up with Xavier not letting her use her full potential and Jean taking Scott's eye off her and Xavier's attention as one of his fav. students. Dazzler could sing at the club as a cameo. Magneto could meet Mystique here.

1) Psylocke doesn't have twins... there believe to be the M twins. Only one is alive in the comics now Monet from X-factor.

2) Stryker already did return... (X2) why return twice? that's a bit generic.

3) overall some decent ideas... but sounds mostly cluttered to me.

Maybe he was I don't know,I think so, but I do know that going by looks Famke looked much older than Halle and James. If you told me Halle and James were the same age I would believe that over James and Famke, going on looks alone, I they were all supposed to be in the first class of students...

She's said a lot of things... Among them that Gambit may get his own spin-off down the line. Everything's pretty up in the air, as it always is with Fox.

This is why Marvel is taking control of the properties it still has creative power over... Fox ruins things.
