Sequels X-Men: First Class

knowing fox, the costume wont even look like beasts... They clearly ignored X2's alkali lake for X-men Origins: Wolverine...

I never really got the "part of his mutation" thing as in X2 we see him fully human, then in X3 it's part of his mutation??? I suppose it could be explained as a latent or secondary mutation, but I suspected he'd be normal in any prequel as it would be incredibly contradictory for him to be blue and furry

as far as we know that was just a double he used for public appearance, or that he was wearing some type of holographic imager (like nightcrawler used in-x-men: evolution) since in was never officially explained

Though, I heard somewhere, that in an early draft of the script there was suppose to be a scene of him changing during the mental attack… but, it didn’t made it into the final draft

Anyway, I say go with human beast (he can still be kinda hairy, just not blue) like he was in the first comics, or in the first class serie

Or he can be furry in the First Half of the Film and then becomes furry and then Xavier creates the Holographic image thing.

Spider-Fan83 I did hear about his intended transformation during the Prof X.'s mental attack, (w/ Gambit cameo) that's more plausible and why I would accept it as a secondary mutation, vs. totally ignoring his human form in X2... they could explain secondary mutations with XMFC, with characters like Jean Grey and Emma having more than one mutation...

I don't think the holographic imager will make an appearance on screen, they probably made NC wear that light make up when he attacked the Pres. for that very reason, I doubt he would've had it in X3 either, had he stayed of course... plus the imager, even in X-Men's fantastical sci fi-ness would kinda seem unrealistic or maybe even cheesy (ideally, in my mind) onscreen... but who knows

I wouldn't of thought so, either... up until x3, with them useing holograms in the danger room
EDIT:
as for nightcrawler not wearing one in the white house scene...

its not unreasonable to think that Beast, a genius in his own right, an a former member of the x-men, would have access to advance technology, that Stryker wouldn't

Speaking of the Danger Room, I hope we see more of it in First Class. I'd prefer it to be more of an obstacle-type training room, rather than holographic simulations.

I was thinking that too

actually that one they had design for x2, would probably work
(some concept art and set designs, for it were featured on the DVD, if you don't know what I am talking about)

You are correct. A number of things were actually exempt from X-2 like the following.

-Husk
-Danger Room scene with Wolverine at REAL DANGER level.
-Beast transforming
-Gambit accidentally catching his cards on fire during a poker game.
-Phoenix wasn't in the early draft at all.
-Deathstrike's name was Anne Reynolds before it became Yuriko I think it was.

I always wanted to know...what was Husk's role going to be? X-Student (a role like Rogue and Iceman's or background) or Stryker's Prisoners/Experiments?

She was a student. One of Stryker's people who infiltrated the mansion was grabbing at her ankle and then she shed her skin.

Also during the museum scene with Bobby, Pyro, and Rogue, Kitty was also present. Rogue absorbed some of Pyro's power and was trying to see how well she could control fire.

they should make an xmen 4,like the name xmen revolution or something,id like it to continue on from there, even though 3 of the main characters died, they could introduce new ones

Yeah, they should, but they are probably too cheap to pay Hugh Jackman and Halle Berry all in one production. And really, they could bring Cyclops back with a little explanation, I don't think there was ever a body shown.

Singer recently signed on to develop to direct and produce “Battlestar Galactica” at Universal, a project he’d been eyeing since he originally made a deal to godfather a series revival in 2001. At the same time, Singer has been flirting with directing “X-Men: First Class,” a 20th Century Fox spinoff that got a first script draft by “O.C.” creator Josh Schwartz.

i guess we kinda got an answer- First Class will be in the past and most likely star Cyclops, Jean (Marvel Girl), Beast, and Storm among possible others.

I made a Slide show of who I think the new cast should be for X-Men First Class. Check it out.

Cyclops: Tim Pocock.....would rather Jared Padalecki.....Of Super Natural.... but they already used Tim in Origins.

Jean Grey: Kaya Scodelario.......Of BBC's Skins

Storm: Katerina Graham.........Of CW's Vampire Diaries

Beast: Kellen Lutz..........Of Twilight

Emma Frost: Tahyna Tozzi..... Of X-Men Origins

Havok: Chase Crawford........Of Gossip Girl

Polaris or Dazzler: Kristen Bell......Of Hero's

Banshee: Ed Westwick........Of Gossip Girl

Aside from Cyclops and Emma, no, I'd rather First Class not be an annoying teen drama.

Hinted? He outright said it! :wow:
