Sequels X-Men: First Class

I made a Slide show of who I think the new cast should be for X-Men First Class. Check it out.

http://www.slide.com/r/0uDRBtLB3D-Z...previous_view=mscd_embedded_url&view=original

Cyclops: Tim Pocock.....would rather Jared Padalecki.....Of Super Natural.... but they already used Tim in Origins.

Jean Grey: Kaya Scodelario.......Of BBC's Skins

Storm: Katerina Graham.........Of CW's Vampire Diaries

Beast: Kellen Lutz..........Of Twilight

Emma Frost: Tahyna Tozzi..... Of X-Men Origins

Havok: Chase Crawford........Of Gossip Girl

Polaris or Dazzler: Kristen Bell......Of Hero's

Banshee: Ed Westwick........Of Gossip Girl

What do you guys think?

I like the one in bold, but that is because I love Kristen Bell and will watch anything she is in. lol.

^Hopefully, yeah. It seems like the best logical step, since Wolverine teased at it. The audience needs a little break from Wolverine anyways, right?

I think maybe he's assuming too much.

I hope they keep him (and Tahnya Tozzi/Emma) instead of recasting the role. He looks perfect, imo...has good cheekbones like James Marsden. :awesome:

I liked him as Cyclops and I like the girl they had for Emma. They need both of them back for First Class

I can't believe this might actually happen. A full on X-Men training without Wolverine!

I know although I did hear he was going to have a cameo. Won't it be great?

It would be great if they did start filming next year! Tim Peacock was perfect as Cyclops! I wonder if Tahyna Tozzi will return. I guess we'll just wait and see.

Has anyone seen this!?

Interesting. Will they get Patrick Stewart to play Charles again in this film? They’ll need a little makeup & CGI to make him look younger, I guess. I wonder will they show how he lost the use of his legs. Also, I wonder if they will delve into the conflict with Magneto—and risk spoiling any events that would have been covered in the Magneto Origins film. Hm..

They can’t include Angel. Nor Iceman. So—just Jean, Scott and Hank?

BTW- that girl from ‘True Jackson’= young Ororo.

Well i guess it was suggested that the First Class was coming, when Xavier came to pick them all up with the helicoptre at the end of Wolverine. This sounds good/could be good. Let them just make Origins Magneto, First Class, Wolverine 2. So they finish Wolverine, tell the relationship between Magneto and Xavier and how the Xavier school for Gifted Youngsters was built. And then finally move on to X-Men 4 with Apocalypse and Mister Sinister. I'll be really pissed if they're going to be more than 3 origins films left and keep going with pre-quels. And a Deadpool movie could be nice, but for me not really necessary.

Although I'm not happy with this news because it's another Fox film I wonder who the villian or threat will be.

It had better not be any worthwhile villians like Apocalypse or Mr. Sinister, that would be a waste.

Villains hmm, Apocalypse and Sinister deserve an trilogy on its own. Perhaps the Hellfire Club, Shadow King or Mojo.

Right there. The Hellfire Club would be their only good choice. Mojo would be way too out there as would the Shadow King.

My problem with picking villians like Apocalypse, Mr Sinister or even Shadow King is they are pretty much bigger threats than what they have faced in the other X-men films. It would be weird to see them take on someone as strong as Apocalypse then go to the 1st X-men film where they are having trouble taking out the threat in the fricken Statue of Liberty or some soldiers under a dam in the second film. It would be kind of ass backwards.

Your idea for the Hellfire club is a pretty good one, especially if Emma will be in the film. Could show her start out with Professor X then either from her own free will or because of Mastermind join the Hellfire Club.

I wish Taylor Kitsch would reprise his role as Gambit for X-Men: First Class, it's a shame since he's doing John Carter of Mars for Disney next year.

He was one of the few bright spots of Wolverine.

Has it been said that Gambit would be in this film though?

Problem is that Gambit was 25-30 years in XMO Wolverine and Cyclops 15-20. They're supposed to have the same age more or less. Gambit as a kind of tutor over a younger Cyclops, Jean etc. i don't know, it might work or not. I don't think they'll use Gambit.

So shooting for this film begins in 2010, I'm assuming for a 2011 release? Just where in the hell do they plan on placing this film in the 2011 season? A season that will have Spider-Man 4, Thor, Green Lantern and Captain America. If they wanted May, like Wolverine had, it's impossible, there already is Spider-Man 4 AND Thor in that month.

January 2011 possible. But 2011 might be an overkill for comic book movies on the boxoffice. Everyone a slice of the cake, spider-man 4 will dominate that's for sure but the rest will be in a profit dangerzone. They should spread it better over the year, with 4 possible marvel movies (with deadpool perhaps 5!!). Marvel, Fox, Sony should get their heads together.

I already smell rushed production...just like Fox, nothing new here.

Most likely approved this film just for the sole reason to have something to compete with those other films.

I think they oughta go the Hellfire route that way at the end of the film they could show that Emma has connections with them. They kind of screwed Emma as far as movie canon goes by making her Silverfoxes sister. That bugged me.

Fox has already screwed the X-Men world too much already. I mean, Wolverine and Cyclops have already been in the hands of THREE different directors all of which probably had different views of the characters. Not sure how much more I can take of the X-men franchise being put in unstable hands. I guess I'll feel better if a good director is attached to it. The lack of Iceman and Angel is upsetting as Bobby Drake is my favorite mutant (mostly because of his cool power *no pun intended*).

Man... Jason Marsden was robbed. :csad:

Only one way I would even show an interest of glimmer in this movie: Patrick Stewart...

They got to have talent somewhere in the movie.
