Sequels X-Men: First Class

Depending on his age, Beast could be a teacher as well. I see no problem with a teacher handling 10 young teenagers. There are plenty of teachers who do that on a daily basis and then some.

Moira can also be at the school too.

And Singer talked about introducing new mutants, so we might get people like Banshee or Forge serving as teachers.

the school was never publicly known as a place for mutants
(atleast not in the first couple of movies, maybe by the third, idk)

Oh... I thought everyone knew that it was a school for mutants, but not any of the X-men and technology stuff. My mistake.

Random? We saw Banshee, Emma Frost, Psylocke, Quicksilver, Toad etc - are they 'random'?

See, with the exception of Emma and "Quicksilver" i didnt even pick up on those other cameos, and I've seen the movie 4 times. Admittedly I'm not very observant when it comes to that. It'll be interesting to find out who the "etc." were.

That said, I stand by what i called it and that it was a random assortment of mutants. Really to me they were put there without thought of what the "First Class" would eventually be like ie. Random.

id hate for them to pull a kitty pryde and never get banshee's age right between 2 movies.... Forge i could see them age to be a teacher.... but banshee was pretty much a givin in xO:W. he could be beasts age i suppose... but i dont want him much older then that.. and id prefer beast not to seem much older then the rest of the class...

Some people did speculate that the Banshee from Wolverine was actually Chamber.

But ultimately a cameo shouldn't affect a decent full portrayal in a future movie. If they go older, fine.

none the less.. i wouldn't really want him much older... he'd be possibly a tad older since his daughter was in X2.... soo maybe moira and banshee could be in there mid/early 20's. id just rather moira be a love interest of xavier first.

I think he should at least be old enough to be a teacher. I don't think student Banshee would offer much to the film. Banshee has always been one of the older X-Men.

I tend to agree. Save for Cyclops and Emma Frost, I don't think the cameos in X-Men Origins: Wolverine should have too much bearing on First Class.

It would be fun to see how they explain why Emma didn't use her Telepathy back then. Or maybe it'll be a mutation she develops later.

it's Xavier's mansion he inherited... people who are rich with less people living in a mansion then an old man and 5 students.. live in bigger mansions then the one in the X-films.. hell on smallville Lex (now tess), lives in the same mansion and its just him/her living there.
ok, will if it was just his familys mansion, he definitely added some addtions or did some massive renovations to turn it into a school...
so, maybe we'd still see it more in its original layout, that seems less school like

Well, the 'etc' include the M twins, and whoever else the others were if anyone knows.

We were told that the initial writer of First Class (Josh Schwartz) was aware of the cameos, so I am still not seeing 'random'.

But, since First Class was still only in the very early stages at the time of Wolverine being made, with no director and no real movement aside from Schwartz's draft of the story, then why should Wolverine's makers have any conclusive thoughts of what First Class would be like? How would they know at that stage?

However, since they included Emma Frost, Banshee, Quicksilver, it wasn't entirely random since those could be likely candidates to show in the early years of Xavier's school. It's not like they stuck Apocalypse or Rachel Summers in there - that WOULD be random.

I have a feeling if Emma is in First Class they'll completely reverse her story. She'll start out as an X-Men and become a member of the Hellfire Club. She'll start out with diamond skin and later develop her telepathy.

If they plan on doing the Emma/Scott/Jean love triangle then it would be interesting for Emma to develop her telepathy over the course of the movie.

They could have Emma and Jean having mini telepathic arguments which Scott would know nothing about, and whereas Jean wants to develop her powers so she can control them, Emma wants to use them for personal gain. We could see her *****y side shine through due to the emergence of her telepathy.

If Emma's involved they could go into the whole Hellfire Club storyline he'd planned, wherein Emma tries to recruit Jean so that the HFC could manipulate Jean... she's initially an X-Man, but by the end of XM:FC, when she realizes Scott loves Jean more she leaves heartbroken and joins the HFC--- Sequel the cold and jaded Emma/ White Queen returns with to carry out the ^mentioned HFC sub plot

Do you think that we will see Stryker come see Xavier about his Son?? I think that would be amazing!!!!!

Do you think that we will see Stryker come see Xavier about his Son?? I think that would be amazing!!!!!

In X-Men 2, Stryker says to Xavier that a year after his son came back from Xavier's school, his wife committed suicide because of the illusions. Yet in X-Men origins Wolverine, his wife was already dead. So Xavier's school has already been set up. Most likely a continuity error.

Inless Bryan Singer chooses to disregard Wolverine like the Deadpool will
what will most likely happen If the school was set up before the 1980's
parts of Wolverine.First Class, apart from the parts showing Xavier and magneto meeting and begining their work together, will focus on the school
after Cyclops and others rescured by Xavier are brought there. And will show
the first batch of students coming together as a team.

^^That would be a good way of going about it. Whatever they choose to do i hope they doesn't completely disregard the the events and the mutants in that film.

Can this movie get its own forum now? It is happening.

Wolverine had a lot of continuity errors. It is best to just shut it out of your mind.

Not necessarily a continuity error.

Xavier may have already been running some kind of school, or offering some kind of service to parents of mutants, prior to rescuing those students from Three Mile Island at the end of Wolverine. The Wolverine film doesn't state that the final scene with Xavier and the kids was the start of the school.

All that scene with Jason in the ice indicates is that Jason and Styker had already met Xavier.

It would be a nice tie-in, but I wouldn't mind if it isn't done. I'm kind of sick of Stryker.

I also am sick of Stryker. So far he's been the main villain in two out of four X-Men films.

I wouldn't mind a reference or cameo.

Stryker would not make sense for X-Men First Class unless it was nothing more than a cameo...

Stryker is aware of Xaviers work and by the way it sounds approached him for a cure for his son...

That is the only thing that needs to be explored in First Class other than that there is no real purpose for him.
