Let's totally forget how Storm almost kills Emma the next time she trys to use her telepathy on her.

It odd that you would say that seeing that Storm was the host of the Phoenix Force in another universe.:)

Accept it's been stated that only omega level telepath/telekinetic can access the force. Storm is not an omega psi.

Well....technically speaking Storm is a high level telekinetic.:)

Also thank you for having a semi-logical converstaion. I noticed how I was getting labled as a fanboy when all I was going was voicing my opinion.

Which I notice you can't really do around her without somebody thinking your out to get their favorite character.

We wasted pages without even talking about ther subject at hand :(

So...

Jean, Storm, Kitty, Joe? right?
or
Jean, Havok, Kitty, Joe?

I wanna see a Diamond skin Emma vs Kitty!

What kill me about this debate, Jean and Ororo are my two favorite characters in the X-Men.

No, my logic is she beat Havok, which was the point of the discussion.

That's not logic. That's a conclusion. Your logic is that since a comic showed Storm beating Havok it means she will always win against Havok. Running by your logic if there's a comic book showing let's say... Sauron pumping your not quite queen yet goddess full of bullets and taking her down then Sauron should always be able to beat Storm. You can't call one fight a continuity mistake or "writer's liberty" and then count another fight as absolute fact. Sure you can justify it in your mind but it just doesn't hold up in any kind of sensible debate.

Hahaha! :D

Who said sebita engages in any type of sensible debate? :D

Your logic is that since a comic showed Storm beating Havok it means she will always win against Havok.

Besides which, during the brief time in the Outback where Storm was thought dead and de-aged, wasn't it Havok who had supposedly 'killed' her?

I mean, I voted for her and actually think she would win in a real fight, but there are examples going either way...

Goddess I hate it when you all post when I'm away... about telepathy and Ororo... goddess... how can you so forgetful??? JEAN GREY HERSELF clearly stated that a deep probe of Ororo's mind is IMPOSSIBLE unless she allows you to, in X-Treme X-Men 9. If Ororo doesn't want you in her mind, you won't enter period. The Grey King's power was to merely disable powers, period, he was an amalgam of Jean/Cap Britain and Leech. Nothing more, nothing else.

And about Kitty, when she is phasing she is susceptible to cold, read Excalibur: Mojo Mayhem, that's the first example that comes to mind, but I bet there must be hundreds of them.

Storm will fall to Jean easily. Case and point... Jeans powers are instantaneous. although storm and anyother xman can kick just about anyone out of thier minds., doesn't mean she can be mind controlled into sleep, psi-blasted, suffocated, etc..

You've been pleading for the next round since page 3 Exploding Boy... boy you're persistent.

And AnnoyingSilence... read my post before you reply to it. Jean herself said she can't enter Ororo's mind fully...

Seeing as how you randomly pretend information doesn't exist on basis that you don't like it, I'm going to say that issue of X-Treme doesn't count on basis that Claremont was writing it. :D

I never pretend information doesn't exist, it's a matter of interpretation. There is the Handbook interpretation, the one I stick with, and there is the Phoenix Fans one which is the one I believe wrong.

Oh, that's true.

You don't pretend the information doesn't exist... you just call it something writers do to make things interesting.

Well, see, Claremont just had Jean say that to make things interesting... and so that Storm would shut up. Claremont was having Jean give Storm the benefit of the doubt just to make things interesting.

Kind of like when that writer had Sauron shoot her. Interesting stuff.

Ororo is one of the best suited to fight Sauron given that he is a reptile and cold-blooded. The writers had to devise a way for her to be taken down before she would end the fight by batting an eye. Why do you think he ambushed her while she was sunbathing in Uncanny 115? The same reason.
