X-Men Origins: Wolverine Official Thread

where do i enter the code for the arena?

Through XBL or PSN. Just go to Redeem Code and then enter your code. For the 360, hit the guide button then scroll to the left. Iv never redeemed a code for PSN so im not sure how to do that.

Finally got around to playing the demo. Enjoyed it quite a bit, felt quite a bit like God Of War. Definitely renting this next week after finals are over

uh... well i dont know if you can quick kill them but you can grab them and tap Y over n over.. its possible.

As for the code... i figured i'd try going to gamestop n ask for a code even tho i didnt buy the game. Sometimes u can catch a real jerk like i have in the past... but today i was lucky n he just gave me one. two actually... the first was a PS one but i gave it back cuz i needed the 360 code.

just about done with ALL achievments... minus the dog tags and hard mode. workin on the burn enemies one. But can someone point me out to which chapter/mission i can find the cake? i read either here or somewhere that its used with a teleporter.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine Dev Wants to Make Deadpool Game
The developers behind X-Men Origins: Wolverine want a go at the Merc with the Mouth and that's just a fraction of what Dan Vondrak, the game's project lead, told us about his future with mutant based videogames during an interview yesterday.
When asked which character his team would love to tackle next, Vondrak replied:
"That's very easy, that'd be Deadpool. We're huge fans of Deadpool. When we made X-Men 2, we made sure to put Deadpool in there and give him plenty of little Easter eggs and conversations. We love the character. His smartass attitude. So that'd be the guy we'd probably go after."
And how does the dev feel about the Hollywood-ized Deadpool in the X-Men Origins: Wolverine film?
"What can I say, I'm a guy who likes the original stuff the most. I like my Deadpool the way he is in the comics," said Vondrak. "I wouldn't necessarily say that's exactly how he's used in the movie and eventually the game. It's a cool concept for sure. It's just maybe not the first choice I would have made."
So if he got to make a Deadpool game, we could hope for something a little more traditional? "Absolutely 100%," Vondrak said. Can you hear that? It's the sound of a million comic book fans breathing a sigh of relief.
A comic nerd in his own right, Vondrak happily answered our many fanboy questions. Like how do you kill Wolverine if you can't cut through his adamantium spine? "Drown him." What villain can we expect in a possible X-Men Origins: Wolverine sequel? "Silver Samurai." And what was the most goretastic sequence that didn't make the final cut of the Wolverine game? "One of the original ideas was Wolverine throwing himself into a 737's jet and taking it down. And that ended up being kind of what we did with the Sentinel battle."
X-Men Origins: Wolverine hits stores today. We'll have a review up soon, but until then use the comments section to tell us what you want from a Deadpool game.

:wow:

Could you imagine how awesome it'd be to play as Deadpool slicing, dicing, and blowing **** up?

Wolverine was extremely funny in this game, imagen the possibilities of him! I mean imagen him saying things like "i hope im not controlled by a fat nerd, but if your a hot chick feel free to control me with your sticks" or something. =D

And I'm sure Marvel will go for it, they can't possibly be happy after what happened to him in the movie. They're probably talking about it already.

All we need is Ryan Reynolds to voice, and we'll be all set.

I just found out you can play through Easy to unlock hard.

So I'll round up all the achievements in Easy first, then start a new game on hard, but from what I hear, hard is extremely difficult.

can anybody help me? How the hell are you supposed to beat the Sentinal? I know you got to atack his foot, or get him to curb stomp those electric grates. Im so confused on this one.

I just figured out how to turn the shotguns on the ghosts.

Hell yeah that's awesome.

never mind I just beat the stupid sentinal.

I'm kind of pissed I still don't have the x-force uniform. I found the blue and yellow statue like 4 times already, and i have only found one x-force.

thnx for the tips guys. would it be at the same spot that you freeze yourself?

Heffer... no worries... i think its normal to not find x-force figures till later on. but as i went through the game i found a huge ammount... so if you missed em b4... keep looking.

fighting yourself is a really good way to learn how to use wolverine better.

I mean grabbing one of those bastards and performing a special kill on them. Killing them with combos is no problem.
Oh, well, keep trying. I did it quite a few times actually. You stab them in the leg, put your claws in their skull and then rip their damn head off.

Anybody go all 50 rounds in the Weapon X arena? I did, and omg, it was hard, but awesome. My hands were tired, lol, but I got through it.

Anyone know if there's a costume for beating it hard & if so what it is it?

I just finished the game and really enjoyed it. That final cutscene. OMG! That needs to be a sequel, just void of ANY movie tie in. The only major complaint i had is that this was a movie tie in. The story was just all over the place, it was just a mess. Still a fun game tho and if you consider yourself a Wolverine fan you need to play this game.
