X-Men Origins: Wolverine Official Thread

Make sure to have it up and running soon, we gotta play something.

Should I try asking for the Weapon X Arena code when I go to Game Stop to get it?

re-playing my copy of wolverine
i must admit for a ps2 game its really good :)

So, the demo is pretty intense. Is this a good game to buy?

I am literally 2 dog tags away from getting my Platinum trophy but can't find them anywere :(

I'm 4 away an am replaying the levels to try an find them. I'm hoping there somewhere in the Weapon X area since that's what I'll be doing tonight

I've just gone through every level again trying to find them which is so frustrating... so close yet so far

Yea, right now Im replaying the levels but with my feral senses almost always on to see if anything sticks out. Although right now Im stuck without my powers in Weapon X an now I gotta keep a sharper eye on things

I'm sure a complete guide will show up on youtube relatively soon.

Roosterteeth has chapter 1's locations up on youtube right now.

Is this game any good?

in general, i'd put the game at an 85% due to some repetitiveness and a glitch here or there. But over all the game is just seriously fun as hell...I can see myself popping it in every so often just to slice and dice guys. It's just a blast, the story is good, and it's easily the best movie game as far as production values go. Easily up there with Spider-Man 2. If you are a fan of God of War or action games in general, you'd be foolish for not renting it at the very least.

If you are a Wolverine fan in any capacity...it's a definite buy.

I've been hearing there was a lot of left over Weapon X codes. I would go for it, definitely wouldn't hurt anything

I'm not sure myself, but from my understanding it's like a bonus challenge room type of thing

Yea, its 4 different rooms with different objectives.

The Ladder Challenge Room has you facing 50 waves of enemies with increasing difficulty.

The Dismemberment Room has you select which body part you'd like to see cut off. Once you've selected that you can watch that body part get removed.

The Environmental Kill Room has every type of environmental kill that you come across in the main game. You spawn 4 enemies at a time and just go to town. Impaling them on tree branches, metal pipes, forklifts etc etc.

Custom Combat Room has has you spawn which ever type of enemy you want to slice up. You can pick up to 8(i think its 8) enemies at a time to spawn and they can be all different types or all the same types, your choice.

This is when DLC is annoying. Why couldn't they just include that in the game itself?

Just beat it on hard. Sadly it wasn't such a bigger challenge than Normal. Enemies have more health and do more damage, but they aren't exactly more difficult to take down. It just takes longer. The enemy AI definitely needs some work if they make a sequel.

I hear the fights with the lava/rock monsters whatever they are, aren't good 'coz all you do is dodge, lunge and slash away then repeat.
