X-Men Origins: Wolverine Official Thread

That reminds me. Can I carry my leveled up Wolverine over into hard mode? Or does it reset everything?

I guess it would make hard mode to easy? That sucks. Well, I'm going to level up my character the rest of the way and then start on hard I suppose.

i havent tried playing on hard but does hard mean more ppl attack you at any given moment or that it takes more hits to kill them?

More hits to kill them and you take more damage. So, its double fun.

well im holding off until DLC comes out cuz ive played this game 4 times already and beat each time. im wolverined out!

Haha yea i played it hardcore for like 2 weeks straight. I just picked it up some last night to hack up some ppl. I can see myself going back to this game many times just for a quick slash em up.

One question, the part in the end where is about to fight some sentinels, is it before or after he joined the X-men?

Im assuming thats after. Not 100 sure tho, but what i am sure of is that i want another Wolverine game to pick up right there.

That final video in the game hints at a Days of Future Past era. Which means the X-Men are long gone an Logan is all that's left. If you look everything is in ruins an Sentinels are walking around freely without much resistance

just beat it. great game. My only complaint is the camera. I'm not a fan of having the camera zoomed so far out during gameplay. Especially when it comes to loosing the ability to get up close and have a good look at the damage wolverine takes. I hope they move the camera closer for the next game.

there are only 3 unlockable costumes, right? reason i ask is that there's a 4th "locked" selection in the bonus screen. anyone know what it is? (i have it for 360)

That's the Weapon X Arena that you can unlock with the pre-order code.

Finally got the game rented again.

Now for that damn dog tag. :cmad:

Id recommend walking into ur local Gamestop and seeing if they have any left.
It might be a long shot, but it cant hurt to ask.
I walked up an asked an had a story set up that my girlfriend bought the game for me at Target for our anniversary not knowing about this code at Gamestop and I was gonna see if they would sympathize enough to give it to me. But all I did was ask if they had the code an they asked for what system an gave me one.:oldrazz: anyway its not like there gonna be used anyway an as long as you don't have a D*ck working the counter an if they still have it you should get it

Hah, yea my buddy did the same thing. Asked if they had any left over, they did, so the dude working handed him one.

Finally found it!

First one in Chapter 3. I must have been running around without my feral senses on when I went through the first time and missed it, he blends in with the background to easily.

Now to finish up my reflexes, then do hard.

How do you improve on the reflexes? Do they just upgrade through combat?

Yep, pretty much.

Also adding on the mutagen that builds them faster helps. The hardest ones are arguably the robot and machete reflexes, because they're the least apparent and weakest enemies respectively.

Congrats, I still need to find my last tag an finish up the reflexes like you before going into hard mode. I rented it the day it came out but I think I'll wait till I buy it cheap an go back into the game with a fresh set of eyes looking for it. I had seen the same levels an enemies so many times everything seemed the same after awhile

I'm not sure how many dog tags I have, honestly. I think I have most of them, but I'm not 100% sure. I'm still searching though, that's for sure.

sucks that after playing and beating the game 4 times in a row theres nothing new or left for me to do other than just release some stress and slash n hackem.. other than that im beastin for sum DLC...

Yea same for me, but thats why i bought the game. Iv already gone back a few times just to cut up some thugs. I see myself doing that for awhile. Its really the only hack n slash i have until God of War III comes out.

Just finished this game yesterday. It's easily one of the best times I had with my 360. I plan on replaying the whole game with the classic yellow and blue (which looks very awesome in this game).
