Don't care.
same here. Maybe if people stop saying it, it wont come trueUntil there's an official announcement from Marvel, I'm not believing that Bendis is coming to the X-Men.

It is from TAS. In Japan it had different intro and ending which was done in an anime styleI'd be okay with it if Mark Bagley did the art on UXM.
Where's your avatar from? Looks like 90's TAS but the animation doesn't seem right unless it's from the last 10 episodes or so that were done by a different studio.
Much as I'd hate to see what he'd do with still more characters I have a fondness for, I'd be cool with that. It'd probably be good for the cosmic line in the long run.Is Bendis officially confirmed yet? I'm still kinda hoping that he goes the Cosmic route.
I've heard he's taking over X-Men and taking them on a Cosmic Epic but that's just rumor from my local comic shop.
Where there's smoke, there's fire...
The X-men were in space for one issue of that arc. I really wouldnt call it a space story when the bulk of it was on earthwhile I understand the hate for space...one of their greatest X-men stories was a space story (Dark Phoenix Saga)
I really wouldnt say they always want to do that. Brubaker's Shi'ar arc was the only time it was done within any X ongoing in the last 10 years at least that I can remember and then Carey did clean up of that when he had those characters recovered in Legacy which needed to be done. Morrison touched upon the Shi'ar in New X-men but he kept the X-men earth bound and focused mainly used them to show what a threat Nova was. The X-men space stories have been kept to a minimum and thankfully its not as bad as it was in the 80sAgreed,
Dont understand why the writers always wanna do X-Men space epics when the themes they deal with are much more earthbound.
Humans being scared of mutants seems a little silly when there's a ton of aliens walking around, wouldn't the majority of somewhat xenophobic humans prefer an earth-born super-being protecting the planet to some cosmic entity like captain marvel??
I think people are worried about his vision. I loved New Avengers when he revamped the line but many classic fans saw it as a bastardized version of what the Avengers were and I can see those complaints as valid. I think people fear what he will do with the X-line as he seems to have the power and free reign to do whatever he wants at Marvel and they let himI'm nervous about Bendis coming onto the X-Men because he doesn't always get the characterizations... but then, most of the X-Men have been written out of character for years anyway. Maybe his mischaracteristics manage to actually have them act IN character?!
I can already see Bendis' X-Men roster...
Spider-Man
Wolverine
Longshot
Domino
Dani Moonstar
Cypher
Jewel, who discovers she was a mutant all along
Professor X, inexplicably back in his wheelchair and only half as powerful
And that's the A-team.
Bendis' X-Men Roster:
Wolverine
Spider-Man
Magneto
Luke Cage
Spider-Woman
and Ronin (Deadpool in disguise)
