Y'know, Emma has a point.

I still dont like emma but she does gotta point. Why help iron man and co when the government fails to help all those mutants before and after(by going concentration camp on em0 HOUSE OF M. Now that bishops and idiot.

Emma does have a good point. What you should keep in mind about Scott is that as a leader in both a strategic and philosophical sense is that he has a responsibility to do damage control. With Wolverine and others who are very aggressive and strongly opinionated this is critical. I believe that it was the What If where Cable kills Scott, Jean and the Professor that made this point most clearly. After everything goes to hell and years pass, Wolverine as the last survivor of the X-Men forms a new team and decides to give up his traditional attitude because Scott and the others aren't there to deal with the consequences for him. He finally becomes a real and responsible leader. Scott rarely acts aggressively because he can't afford to. If he doesn't show restraint then who will?

I gotta admit, she has a very good point. The avengers help 'everyone', right? So where were they when an entire nation was destroyed? Ultron smashed up a tiny little country and they all went racing over to stop him but when it's mutants they seem to take thier time doing so. Ah, double standards gotta love em :P

It's just like when Bush helped out the East after the tsunami, but he takes his sweet time with African AMERICAN'S.

I seem to remember a civilan Peter Parker beating the **** out of some skin headed anti mutie scum near the university.

I may be wrong though.

I agree with Emma wanting to just stay out of it, and saying that the Avengers don't really seem to help mutants.

But using the reason of, "We won't help you simply because you haven't helped us in the past, and we simply have no desire to start a mutual helpful relationship" feels just a bit childish. Because if the next team led by Tony Stark acted with such logic, they'll NEVER help now.

Not saying she should have helped, though. I easily agree with the X-Men staying out of this one.

You're not implying that the reason they didn't join the pro side is because they weren't helped by the Avengers before, are you?

Now he's beating up heroes. Yeah how far he's fallen. He better be affected by his damn suit for once(the symbiote suit only went out at night and didnt become evil till after he gave up the power).

I'm implying that if that were their reason, it's a poor one. There are far better reasons not to, and all are far less childish than that one.

I'm going to say right off the bat, I am not an X-men fan. But I'm not here to berate them either, so keep that in mind when you read this.

What Emma said about where were this team and that team while mutants died, you can say the same arguement about where the X-men were during the dissassemble storyline in the Avengers; or where were the X-men when Wolverine slashed the Things face in the Fantastic Four comic a few years back. There was not even a mention of it in the X books, and they way that Marvel makes it feel in that the X-Men and the F.F. are practically family.

How many here remember back in the 70's and 80's when there were guest stars galore in practically every mag? to me those were the good ole' days, their are to many walls up around the Marvel Universe which need to be torn down at once to give we the fans what we rightly deserve. One universe.

I may be wrong in posting this here, so plaese forgive me. and if it did come across that I bashed the X-Men, then I apologise for that also because that was not my intent. I just wanted to state that their was an apposing arguement to the one Emma brought up.

FINALLY!!!! I find people that like Emma, **** even in the Xmen section they hate on her like if she was the ****in anti christ. I was very happy to see her tell Tony off, I wish it were Cyclops but he'll have his spot light when he kicks Bishops ass. back to topic though it's a shame with whats happened to the new Xmen and what happened in Genosha that neither the Avengers nor the FF went to their aid.
