Well deserved too.![]()
Agreed. I just hope people will give Del Rio the plaudits as much as they undoubtedly will give Ziggler.

This looks like a good sign. Not gonna hold my breath, though.Source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter
Regarding Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards, apparently there were no issues with their most recent WWE tryout. They are scheduled to be back for the next set of NXT tapings in January but were not offered a contract yet.
NXT writer Ryan Ward is pushing for Triple H to sign them and it appeared they got good reactions from NXT trainers Billy Gunn and DeMott also.
WWE is allowing Richards and Edwards to finish their commitments to Ring of Honor on December 14th but do not want them working anymore dates for that company.

I think we all figured this would be the likely course of action.- There are already plans for Roman Reigns to get a huge push in next year's Royal Rumble match similar to Kane and Kevin Nash in the past where they rack up eliminations.
Triple H & ???? vs Cena & Hogan is the only way I could see this scenario going down but I can't see Triple H or Cena wanting it.- WWE officials have indeed been talking with Hulk Hogan about a return to the company and an idea to have Hogan team with John Cena, presumably at WrestleMania XXX, was at least discussed.
I'd say the last two versions of the belt, so probably over the last 6-8 months. The guy who cast it (Dave Millican, the current WWE beltmaker) made his own etched version of the belt that appeared on tv a couple of times, but the E preferred the previous 3D etched version made by the previous beltmaker (as they believe it shows up better on TV in HD). Since the previous beltmaker is one of the only beltmakers around to have a 3D engraving device/machine, the only thing Dave could do was cast the previous version, and with each subsequent cast, the quality has deteriorated. It's also cheaper and quicker to do than have a new belt etched and made from scratch. It's the only belt they have that is cast, all the other are either hand or machine etched, and it seems to be the belt that has the least amount of money spent on it.
No one should sleep on the potential of Dean Ambrose or Seth Rollins considering that Reigns is getting ample, fresh spotlight these days. Both Rollins and Ambrose are going to be top hands. I'd bet BBQ sauce on it.
Ambrose has always reminded me as having some Brian Pillman and some Roddy Piper in his personality. So, if Ambrose doesn't get institutionalized (Only kidding) with those perceived personality traits, he's going to be outstanding. A little of The Loose Cannon and some of Hot Rod equates to money to me. Rollins, from day one in NXT, has always reminded me of CM Punk and I'm not sure exactly why but I perceive that it's a good thing nonetheless. Rollins match several weeks back from Daniel Bryan was one that I could watch every night.
It's obviously enviable that the Shield will implode at some point to allow the three stars to evolve separately instead of keeping all three talented men in one entity. How, where, when it happens remains to be seen but the why is a no brainer especially when WWE needs to build quality depth. This isn't the era of the Horsemen when talent depth wasn't an issue.
Jim Ross posted a new blog on his official website talking a variety of things, including his thoughts on Raw from Monday. One of the interesting tidbits was Ross's opinion of The Shield, their inevitable break-up, and their potential as singles stars going forward.
Here's what J.R. had to say about The Shield:
I... actually like this idea.I'd do Hogan Vs. Cena at Wrestlemania 30. The match itself wouldn't be good, but the crowd reaction would make up for it. Then at Extreme Rules, have them tag team against Swagger and Cesaro.

I honestly don't like the idea either. I like Cena, but he's not that good when he has to carry the match.
I only like the idea because it takes him out the title race.

The Shield is making up for how poorly Nexus was used.Imagine if two years from now, Rollins, Ambrose, and Reigns are all successful. The Shield will then be known as one of the greatest stables in wrestling history.
