^ Never saw that before. Behind the scenes pics of Heath always seem so rare. Like the magic of how he did the Joker is kept like a magician's secret.

Yeah, those pics are definitely new. It's always exciting when something new comes out. The absolute holy grail would be a video of Heath talking on set.

I asked the guy where he got the photo but he said he just found it online. Information about Heath, pics, props etc are as The Joker says "kept like a magician's secret". I've talked to some people that have worked on the movie. I remember hearing that story ages ago, that was shown in the documentary later on, about Heath having to lip his lick to keep the bottom prosthetic piece on. Heath was also responsible for the application of his make up and how he wanted it to appear in each scene. It was different and purposeful.

I watched spider-man 3 on tv last night for the first time since I saw it in theaters and I gotta say

I love that freakin movie, warts and all. Raimi created the perfect comic book come to life feel in those movies.

Take any scene Raimi's got details for days. He's a comedic surgeon.

He has such a strong visual stamp. Now that's a director you don't need to have an intern write 'visionary' in a trailer to see that he indeed is.

I love that entire trilogy. :hrt:

Wish he would take another stab at the genre.

I don't think it's a good movie but I also don't care what ppl say...those emo dance scenes are hilarious. Soo good. I'd rather watch Spider-Man 3 over most cbm's today. Flaws and all. It's sooo dumb and the writing is awful but damnit it's fun, and not a complete disaster either (like a Batman and Robin).

Well I think that B&R is better at being an awfully silly movie that flows naturally. Spider-Man 3 has a bit of an identity crisis.

Raimi was definitely an ideal choice for this genre.

Spider-Man 3 was actually the first Spider-Man movie I watched in theaters, so it will always have a special place in my heart even if it is by far the weakest of the series (not counting the Webb series)

Aww

Saw Kung Fu Panda 3 last night.

When the sacrifice of a cartoon panda gives me an emotional rollercoaster while the sacrifice of Superman -one of my favorite superheroes- in a movie of the same year fails on so many levels, I feel like.

I'm so happy that Kung Fu Panda 3 provides a shot for that.

Rewatched this just now...man, Gal is really trying here, bless her, but this made me laugh so much. If only, because her line, "Kal El, noooo" sounded very hammy and Ezra still looks like a clown in that Flash getup.

The presidential campaign of Lex Luthor is near identical to that of Donald Trump, it includes what sounds like "MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN".

Spidey 3 always sort of scratched a guilty pleasure itch for me. I'll never forget seeing it in theaters. I was howling with laughter during those dancing scenes. It wasn't the dark epic we all went in hoping for, but once I realized what Raimi was doing I couldn't help but be very amused anyway. Not a good movie, but I'll always have a soft spot for Raimi's trilogy.

Infinity War looks pretty. The visuals look cool and the scope of the battle scenes is definitely impressive. Just wish I cared more. I really just don't give a crap about Thanos. They've had all this time to get me to care, and it just feels very generic. I think they've got my ticket for the visual spectacle and the "event" of it all, but unfortunately the story doesn't look too compelling. I'm hoping the movie will be enough of a crazy adrenaline rush that it won't matter, but it just fundamentally bugs me that this the villain they've been hyping for 6 years and he doesn't feel all that menacing to me- despite the scope of what he's trying to do.

Me as well

I remember back in 2012 when it truly felt like everyone was taking potshots at the trilogy while heaping praise on Mark Webbs "Not-That Amazing Spider-Man" reboot. I'm happy to see the hate diminish in recent years.

The more I read DC comics, the more I seem to appreciate Batman standing on his "What are you doing here?" whenever a guest star appears in his city.
Me as well
Me three, and I think it's a good movie.

One of the greatest tracks in modern superhero history.

I just listened to it, didn't recognize it, and then forgot about every note once it ended lol.

The synth thing is a fun novelty, but I would prefer if there was some melody to it. I think this track is superior.

This is really worth a watch. It gets into how Batman compares and contrasts to various heroic archetypes in TDKT. It shows how the shades of different classic models make up what is an extraordinarily multi-faceted and unique character.
