So, what is the "obvious" goof?

As the Batmobile races towards them, Batman puts the stick up to his mouth and says "Stop", then puts his arm back down. When it cuts back to the supposed mannequin shot, his hand is still up to his mouth.

It's bugged me ever since I was a kid. If that really is a mannequin, it makes this mistake a little more acceptable.

That one jarred with me from the very first time I saw it in the cinema. I thought 'There just had to have been a more subtle way of doing that'.

I just assumed this shot was done in reverse but I read somewhere that a Bat-suit was placed on a mannequin, if you watch the scene over the mannequin moves slightly.

Makes sense I guess. I mean they created full-body casts of Keaton to fit the Batsuits didn't they, so I guess they could have just used one of those.

I don't mind that goof up, it's easy to escape notice with the car hitting break right before bumping into Batman.
And I love that they used a mannequin, lowers the risks of the actor getting hit.

Just took another look. Pretty sure that's Keaton and they just rolled the film in reverse.

I always had this image that after they said "Cut", the mannequin just ever so slowly starts to fall backwards and then CRASH

The ear bent to one side always begged me in the suit up scene. Easiest shot to fix, too. And then when he puts the cowl on the ears are fine.

I don't know if anyone has seen this before, but someone has taken a couple of scenes from the film and changed them to black and white. It turned out really well and I wouldn't mind seeing the whole film this way. It gives off that 1940's film vibe.
