I expect that Nolan has a rather great Batman story to tell yet....otherwise, I truly doubt he would have signed on the direct the third one. The expectations from him were near the ultimate zenith after The Dark Knight and its hype, so unless he's just doing this last one for the paycheck....
-If Miranda does end up being Talia, the reveal would be different than it was with Ra's. Don't think he would pull the same twist twice, but who knows. In this world, Bruce presumably wouldn't know about Talia, so why would it diminish the movie anyway if Batman is fooled by Miranda?
-The fact that Batman has his equipment stolen does not speak of his incompetence; it speaks of formidable quality of his enemies.
-The Bane voice recording are a poor audio representation of what it will be like in the final film. As of now, I am skeptical, but very interested in the final product, and I am intrigued very much by this interpretation of Bane.
-I expect Catwoman to wear a cowl on film, but I have wait and see.
-Nolan and company have not done a disservice to the characters at all in his movies, not where it truly counts for me, and not a disservice like other writers (from the comics, movies, cartoons) have done in the past with the characters used in the last two movies. Nolan left me in awe of the respect he shows for them, regardless of the differences from the comics. He even gave Lucious and Alfred more substantial roles to play than in the comics, and I appreciated that greatly. I expect the same respect with Catwoman and Bane, regardless of the differences from the comics.
-I expect to view this film like the alternate representation of the characters that it is, like and Elseworlds tale from the comics, so that I keep things in perspective and my expectations in check. The comic books and their great stories will always be there, and I just might get lucky and get a more than decent movie based on my favorite characters.
I do kinda wish Ra's turns out to be alive, that the Lazarus pit does indeed appear and grant rejuvenation, that we get an homage to the traditional Bane mask, that Batman lives on to continue the legend and his fight in the end. And perhaps end with a visit to the circus, so that maybe Nolan wants to explore another story where Bruce becomes a father to an orphan boy and then show everyone that a certain interpretation of Robin can work in these movies.
