So AJ is reluctant but still somewhat open to stepping aside. Thatās very interesting and could be the start of a domino effect that sees Fury vs Usyk for all the belts with AJ potentially fighting the winner in what could be an all British showdown later down the line or an even bigger stakes rematch with Usyk.
This sort of deal would need a lot of twisting and turning, a lot of concessions by everyone involved but I actually see a decent possibility of it happening. A deal can be made.
Everyone wants the undisputed crown. Fury, Usyk and AJ. At this moment in time Fury and Usyk are in a position of strength while AJ needs to take a good hard look at his next career steps with the Usyk rematch in the horizon. I think that AJ knows that heās in deep waters with Usyk and the very real prospect of not recovering the belts hangs heavy over him. I think if he could get a compensation, a contract signed and assurances from all parties that he would have a shot at the undisputed crown after a Fury vs Usyk he would probably and wisely step aside and take his shot afterwards.
Now the question is, can they satisfy all concerned parties, it wouldnāt be easy but whereās a will thereās a way and if enough chess pieces where moved to the right spots everyone could get what they really want⦠a shot at undisputed.
