When did you join the Hype? I don't really remember. Around the time of Spidey 2, I'd guess... I'd say I started lurking in 2004, and became an actual participating user in 2005.

What brought you here? Spidey 2 stuff.
What made you stay? The ankle bracelet and constant self-esteem-destroying abuse.
Who is your Hype Nemesis? A nemesis would mean that I actually consider them important or worthy enough to harbor resentment over.

What’s your job? Full time student, part time writer, part time baker.
What kind of vehicle do you drive? Right now? None. All part of being a poor student, I'm afraid.
Dream car? The 1989 Batmobile, of course.
What is your greatest regret? I once had to choose between two girls. I chose... poorly.
What is your greatest achievement? Having one of my reviews quoted by CBS News blog was cool... Travelling across Australia and making it out alive was a personal achievement. I don't really know, honestly. There's tons of small victories but no DEFINING event.
High school mascot? A Scottish Piper. Lame.

No, honestly, I'm pretty happy here on Earth. I guess the Marvelverse would be kinda nifty.

If you had the power to erase one thread from Hype existence...what would it be? Probably the Transformers 2 thread. The world is a better place without it.

Ok so where did the name Episode 29 originate? It's the name of the last song on Mushroomhead's XX album.

Favorite Halloween movie? Halloween, probably. Psycho is better, but it doesn't really tie into the holiday.

Favorite Rocky movie? The first, followed by Rocky Balboa. 2's too melodramatic, 3's a homoerotic cartoon, and 4 is beyond absurd.

Favorite Star Wars movie? A New Hope. The true innovator.

Which 'Back to the Future' movie is your favorite? The first. It's a perfect meshing of the 80's-era effects blockbuster and the heart and style of Frank Capra.

Which 'Batman' movie is your favorite? The Dark Knight.

Which 'Lord of the Rings' movie is your favorite? Probably The Two Towers.

Which 'Star Trek' movie is your favorite? Wrath of Khan, followed by The Voyage Home and Star Trek '09.

Which 'Bond' film is your favorite? Ooh. Tough one. It changes day to day, but right now I'm going to go with The Spy Who Loved Me.

Which 'Terminator' movie is your favorite? T2, hands down.

Which 'Back to the Future' movie is your LEAST favorite? I guess Part III, although its still a really fun, winning flick.

Which 'Batman' movie is your LEAST favorite? Batman Forever. Batman & Robin is stupider and more ludicrously bad but at least it has full confidence in its own campiness. Batman Forever tries to hedge its bets by trying to be both campy and serious, fails at both, and is by far the more excruciating watch.

Which 'Lord of the Rings' movie is your LEAST favorite? I suppose Fellowship, as it was had a few scenes which were sorta baffling to this non-reader of the books. It's still pretty damn awesome, though.

Which 'Star Trek' movie is your LEAST favorite? Part 5. Just a blackhole of entertainment

Which 'Bond' film is your LEAST favorite? Diamonds are Forever. Despite having two of the hottest Bond girls (Lana Wood and Jill St. John) the film is unforgivable for how terribly it botches the set-up from OHMSS. Plus, the cross-dressing Blofeld and final helicopter battle are cringe-inducing.

Which 'Terminator' movie is your LEAST favorite? Salvation. Rise of the Machines is kind of silly, but still has a couple truly awesome action sequences. Salvation has nothing much to offer at all.

If you could pick one movie to take with you on a deserted island, what would it be? Probably Jaws. Besides being my favorite film of all time, it never loses its replay value. The trio of leading performances never fail to amuse, engross and, on occasion, move me, and I've never not gotten chills from the Indianapolos speech and spectacular climax. There may be more profound choices, but I can't think of another film I'd rather be stuck watching on repeat for days on end than Jaws.

What would be the one movie to watch on your deathbed? Possibly the same as the question above, just as one last reminder of why cinema was so important to me in life. Although Star Wars would be a better book-end, as it was the movie that inspired the love in the first place. Synedoche, New York would be the profound answer - for a number of thematic reasons - but I suspect I'd rather enjoy some brilliant escapism

favorite spider-man movie? Part 2. Love the first, but 2 smoked it out of the park.
favorite batman? The Dark Knight, followed by Begins and Returns.
Iron man or TIH? Iron Man is more fun, but Hulk has better action. If I `had to choose, I`d go with the former.
home alone, or uncle buck? As Uncle Buck blows, I`ll say Home Alone, which doesn`t.
do you like film scores? Very much so!
if so, which ones? Almost anything by John Williams, Morricone... Elfman`s Batman and Spider-Man work... 300, Rambo, Back to the Future, Star Trek, Beverly Hills Cop, The Dark Knight, Batman Begins... So many I`m forgetting.
dave chappelle or tyrone biggums? I`ve only ever seen Chapelle in some crappy movies, so this question doesn`t really work for me. I barely watch any TV.
star wars or star trek? StarWars. Love both, though.
do you like the prequels? I do really enjoy them. They`re undeniably inferior to the originals, but I still find them entertaining.
Favorite type of music? Most heavy metal and industrial (Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, White and Rob Zombie, Metallica, Korn, Godsmack, Ozzy, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Slipknot, Mushroomhead...)

Other than Jaws, which Spielberg film is your favorite? That is a really tough question... How do you narrow down such a killer filmography? I guess if I had a gun to my head I'd say Saving Private Ryan, although I also unabashedly adore his first three Indiana Jones films, Jurassic Park, Schindler's List, Munich and Duel.

Favorite Scorsese film? Raging Bull, followed by Taxi Driver.

Favorite Kubrick film? It may not be his most technically amazing or popular film, but Paths of Glory utterly shatters me every time.

Apocolypse Now, Full Metal Jacket, or Platoon? Not a huge fan of Full Metal Jacket, but between the other two I'd go with Apocalypse Now.
