what's a PBA card?

A Police Benevolent Association card. Essentially Cops in the NY/NJ area get cards with their badge number on it.

So, if you're pulled over and you hand them the card, most of the time time they will let you off with a warning after they check to see if you don't have any outstanding warrants.

Don't misunderstand it, it's not like a Get Out of Jail Free card. You can't be running over old women and children and they will let you off.

But if you're doing 20 miles over the speed limit or like me driving and talking on your cell phone without an attachment, they will usually let you off.

It was with my first girlfriend. Her parents took her siblings out and it was just me and her in the house. Believe she made dinner and we kinda knew what was going to happen or what I was hoping to happen. She was prepared she had protection but the one thing she didn't know was that I was a virgin. The whole virginity thing is such a silly thing, because I didn't necessarily feel different. Later after I told her, I asked could she tell and she said no. So either I was naturally good, OR the guys before me were particularly bad.

If applicable, where's the weirdest or most unusual place you ever did it?
Behind some bushes near a Tennis Court. We both lived at home at the time and we needed a place to be.....intimate. It was at night, I had a blanket in my car and.....the rest is between us and the night sky.

Technically, I should have added Engaged. And we've been together now for about a decade.

Before you lucky kids with your internet, we had porn on VHS. My friend snuck a VHS from his parent's stash and we watched it. Although you kids have it luckier because the porn stars I saw weren't the lookers that they have now.

I didn't/don't dislike JAL. I just felt that most people here enabled his behavior and life decisions and no one really kinda told him the way things were.

What invention are you disappointed hasn't been created by now?
Practical wise, why don't we have a cheaper fuel for cars. But to be a geek, flying cars.

What SHH event (that you not necessarily had to be a part in) has given you the most enjoyment?
Easily the Ghostrider87 saga. His stories of wanting to go back to Chicago because he met an attractive waitress at Hooters who was "nice" to him. Or the I met a girl at movie theater 2 years ago and even though I don't have her phone number know she's going to call me, because I psychic told me.

How did you first started posting on SHH and what made you stay?
I told the story. Poster on DC Messageboards was praising the s' out of Catwoman. I followed him here to ridicule him some more.

What is your biggest regret and if you could relive that moment what would you have done differently?
I know what I said about regret in a previous post but to "play along". There was a girl that I think the opportunity was there for something more. And because I was young and naive I think I missed my chance.

Tell the story of your first love, not necessarily your greatest love.
She was the girl that I previously wrote, I lost my virginity to. It wasn't a long relationship. It was essentially a Summer romance. May to September? She went to college in the Mid West and being young and broke, it was hard for us to see other. In hindsight, was I just in lust? Or in infatuation? But I still think of her fondly and smile. I wouldn't try and get back with her especially with where I am now. But the fact that I look fondly on it, makes me think I did have some general emotions.

What’s your biggest geek collectible?

Tape/CD - I don't remember my first tape. MY first CD was Aerosmith.

A mixture of sexual education, and fellow classmates

Who has been your biggest influence and why?
My grandmother and one of my best friend. I answered this in a previous question. But they both raised/influenced me to whom I am today. One as a second mother, and one as a brother I never had.

Where is your next vacation spot?
Probably Orlando Florida. Specifically Disney/Universal

If you moved tomorrow, outside of family or friends, etc. what would you miss most about the place you were living?
Probably the proximity to the beach, the City, etc.

I'd miss one of my favorite Tex/Mex restaurants as well.

Also, whenever we go South, people are always....too nice to you. I like the attitude.

Another story I never relayed on here was our search for a house. We had a realtor whom worked with my Mom at one time. So we used them and at first we started looking at Townhouses and to be honest I dragged my feet for the first few months. I think I put a bid on one and it was rejected by the seller.

We then when a Mr. Toad's Wild Ride around Central New Jersey trying to find a place. Townhouses turned into Single Family Homes.

I think we encountered issues that a lot of home buyers face:
1) Having caviar tastes on a budget
2) Having a Realtor who didn't really get what we wanted
3) Getting frustrated

Our realtor just kept showing us houses that weren't us and didn't offer us any real advice as first time home buyers (Property Virgins). We were looking at something that was move in ready. Nothing that was a project. We realized that we had to up our budget to get what we want.

However, that also meant getting a new realtor. Who lucked out because 2 homes we bid on, we did all the work in terms of research (Realtor.com), all he did was do the paperwork, although he did bring up issues when he saw it.

But it took us a couple of years to find a place and tested our relationship. Now watching HGTV, I try and not get upset when I see realtor tell the buyers what to do or what not to do because we eventually got the house we really wanted.

if you could go on any game show, which would it be?
Price is Right. I was always good at it when I was younger. Or Teen Jeopardy, I'd kick all their asses.

I'm thinking it was Pac Man but I don't honestly remember. We did have an Atari.

favorite film pre 1975?
The Godfather or Godfather 2. I go back and forth between which I thought was better.

scariest movie you've ever seen?
Return of the Living Dead

Not the fact that it was necessarily scary BUT the fact that you couldn't put these zombies down. You cut them into pieces and their arms would still be moving. No 2 in the head to make sure they are dead.

And then the movie ends with a nuclear explosion.

Where I use to live, I use to hear that ALL the time. We lived down from a main highway and people would turn off on our side street and you'd hear those rice mufflers.

Same thing with the mufflers, it was annoying when they use to speed down our street. Now I live on a quieter street with a strong police enforcement. So I don't have too many racers down my street.

For some reason, I think I can only think of Forrest Gump for right now. And the scene when's talking to Jenny at the end and he breaks down.

Well my favorite band is Social Distortion. And they tour around the World, so add that to being able to hear my favorite songs.

And to make it more fun pick a current band and a band from any other era
I would love to been a stage hand for either Elvis or Frank Sinatra.

guitar hero or rockband? I started with Guitar Hero but the song selection with Rock Band is just so much better. And I can do Social Distortion songs on it.

would you rather be a guest on Oprah or Maury? Oprah. I wouldn't answer the phone if Maury called me asking me to come because I know that it would something in regards to a paternity test. Also, I live near NY so I wouldn't be blown away by being brought in.

As a couple, we've never got stares or comments because of our ethnicity. When we were younger it was different, I was the only not fully white person in a small school. I got the "Know Karate?" stuff.

She on the other hand only had issues in school when Black girls said she didn't act Black enough and when she was out of school, it was held against her, that she had higher education and was in a higher position than others working beneath her who older and less educated and more urban.

In terms of my heritage, I grew up in a home that spoke another language and while they did try to give me an "identity", it was hard to stick because I went to an American School and all of my friends were white. So while I'm happy with my ethnicity, I don't really use it outside the jokes I make as label that identifies me. I can think of 10 other things before race even comes as the first thing to describe me.

Easily Pizza.

What is your biggest piece of advice for a couple moving in together for the first time?
That compromise is key. You could be dating for years or go on vacation but once you move in with someone, it's an entirely different dynamic.

Leaving clothes on the floor in your room in your parents house is a lot different than leaving your clothes on the floor in your room in your own house. Throw in, money issues. Rent, utilities, cable, food. Money may get tight and you really have to come up with a budget for things.

The one thing I will say is if you can make it with someone living together, then I think you're better off when you get married.

My grandmother had all these comics bound into a few editions. I think I remember reading a few Zorro or Tarzan in them. I still have those books and haven't' looked at them. It's been quite a while. I think out of those I really liked Zorro the best.
