I believe if OSU plays an SEC team they will lose because their style does not do well against the speed and strength of an SEC team - as shown by their past losses.

So whats the style of OSU.......is it the same style that the NFL hates because for some strange wacky reason the NFL keeps drafting OSU players..........yeah i know you would think the great SEC speed and strenght that the NFL wouldnt even bother with the rest of the schools in the NCAA.

OSU has tremendous talent. That is why they are one of the countries best programs. Their schemes are the problem - and if you watch, OSU hasn't had a major Running Back or QB come out of there is quite a while.

Basically this point is really unarguable. Do you really think Florida was just a better team last year, to the degree of the whooping they put in the Bucks? The answer is no. Talent wise OSU was better - Florida's advantage was the speed, strength and offensive scheme they ran.

To me talent= speed and strenght and the only advantage Florida had was the DE's against our O-line, but i agree with you it was more scheme than talent. But you are forgetting the chip Florida had and the game plan which they ran. OSU didnt change a damn thing which was one of thier downfalls in that game. But that was last year, this team is different. And unless Georgia runs a read-option offence then i give OSU a good chance.

Of course OSU would have a chance, they are a great team. But - again - history shows they struggle with SEC teams, which is the point everyone is making.

Ahh no just because tOSU lost in the past to SEC has no effect with what will happen in the future. Most of those losses came at the hands of a bad game day coach. The SEC speed and talent is no different than the rest of the big time conferences. If that was the case then we would be still struggling with Michigan if you take this history stuff serious. I have this feeling that you SEC folk are going to be a bit surprised this bowl season.

My U-M wishlist:

I'll be there!! Going right when the gates open for some serious tailgating.

BTW, congrats to the Jayhawks on making the cover of SI. :ninja:

Good Luck Bored.

Well, ****. I would have been much happier not knowing that :(.

For what it's worth, Stewart Mandel, SI's college footbal guru, picked Mizzou to win. Does that possibly cancel it out?

Texas A&M is beating that Longhorn booty

...and I don't know exactly how.

Not anymore.

Good Goobally Goo, LSU.

i never thought i would root for UCLA.. but GOOOOOOOOOOOO Bruins..:woot:

Longhorns need to get it together next year. This is pitiful. The defensive side of the ball is getting them killed and destroying any momentum the team has built.

Razorbacks up 28-21...holy mackerel ..plenty of time left, though.

The folks in the Bayou selling thier souls or using some serious voodoo for that luck my god..
