I can't leave my fellow NCAA brethren behind... not when Arc-Light has been absent!!

I expect better than that from you.

On a side note...

You can't spell C*ck Sucker without OU. :o

how bout that?

How can Georgia be ranked higher than all the other SEC teams, but NOT be in the SEC championship game?

This is why I never followed college football. :down

They lost to USC and UT, but beat Florida, Vandy, and UK

While UT beat USC, Georgia, Vandy, UK and lost to Florida. UT wins out because they beat Georgia in head to head.

Because the rankings are collective nonsense that adheres to slot-positioning that follows a near-random ordering of teams before anyone has played a down of football and a little favoritism and elitism thrown in for good measure. Too much of the time, it's about personal perception and not an objective reflection of who's better.

...and that stuff Byrd Man mentioned.

Mark May has USC as his #5 team.

Simply put, because TN caught us at the right time, before we found our groove. We've been on a roll e're since. Couldn't get any help from the Wildcats in the end though, dangit.

So Georgia could end being ranked higher than LSU and Tenn. in all the polls, but still get leapfrogged by one of them for the national championship?

The hell?

I'm rooting for the Bulldogs to get in

I'm not :down Just so I don't have to put up with the UGA fans I know. "What happen to South Carolina, man?" "Worst collapse any SEC team has ever had, man."....:csad:

That was ridiculous. They lost to Stanford, for Aphrodite's sake. I don't care how injured they were, it's friggin' Stanford.

Herbstreit was saying they still had an outside shot to creep in the National Title game. I like Herbie, and I usually defend what he has to say, but come on. :down

It's been that kind of a season.

Georgia getting in is a stretch, it would take both Mizzou and UWV losing. While I like Mizzou's chances against OU, it's certainly not a sure thing; UWV will not lose to Pitt.

Dammit, Missouri, if you lose to Oklahoma a bunch of my friends from Lawrence are gonna come down to Columbia and sack it like your homeboy Quantrill could only dream of! Get KU into the Fiesta Bowl, dammit:cmad: !

Noel Devine will be the Heisman of 2008 ;)
