The BCS got lucky this year... most likely we'll have two one loss teams playing each other with everyone else at two losses... I still like the eight team playoff playing three more after the BCS bowls but I can see why die hards like some aspects of the current system... its VERY rare we'll have three undefeated major conference teams again. Plus the new polls seem to give bonus points to conference winners and teams finishing strong at the END of the season... if we always had this system it would have been Miami vs Oregon in 2001... and LSU USC in 2003. There really is an argument as to why matching up 1/2 works.
