So both teams are gonna be playing there?

That's like Michigan playing a season in Ohio Stadium :o

UCLA and USC shared the cesspool coliseum from something like '23 to '81.

"I want your sexiness, Bella. I want it bad.
*slaps self* Oh yeah. Does that turn you on?"

I will say a little prayer for Bella tonight. :csad:

might as well.. we OWN the place anyway... and have probably played more games there than UCLA :word:

But if you move out of the e-coliseum then stolen steros will go down drastically in south central. Think of your fan base! They won't have a place to get car steros!

I would lmao if Washington State becomes a powerhouse again due to Smith.

Jacksonville Times reports that more than 20,000 tickets remain for the VT/Boston College game this week

The ACC Championship ( ) needs to move to Charlotte, that's a lot closer to the general area of the schools.

Ferentz turned the U-M job down.

Miles is the next candidate.

Carr doesn't want him, he wants either English or Debord to coach.

Tedford from Cal might be interested, he is on the backburner.

Some other head coaching updates/rumors swirling around...

Steve Spurrier denying interest in LSU job. If Miles leaves, LSU is rumored to be going after Nick Saban again.

Tommy Tuberville wants the Arkansas job BADLY. He wants out of Auburn, and tried to get the Ole Miss job. To replace him, Bobby Petrino is being rumored.

If Michigan doesn't have a head coach by Friday, believed to be that Miles will be named the HC after the weekend.

I can't wait to see Less Morals come here.

Martin kinda has trouble wanting to hire him apparently. (Bill Martin, U-M A.D.) If Les keeps running his mouth up here, like with the "Let er rip" and "Ar-KANSAS" crap, it could cost him his job.

I don't think he'll be leaving Carolina. Sure they finished horribly, but they showed that they can compete for the first half of the season atleast.

Speaking of which, I have a perfect motto for USC's season. USC Gamecock$: There's a second half to the season?

Noel Devine is winning the Heisman next year; hes gotta 9.6 ypc this year on 53 carries :wow: :wow: :wow:

Schembechler and Miles were tight, so Carr's opinion should not count as much. Carr may have won in '97, but Schembechler he was not.

Honestly while I think Miles is an idiot - he doesn't run his mouth.

His "Ar-Kansas" hilarity comes from him being a dumbass.

Also - Ears wanting to trade Arkansas for Auburn is a bit...odd. I mean Auburn > Arkansas x 50 in prestige these days.

Well, that one is shot down. He signed an extension today.

Tuberville leaving for Arkansas would have been a step down. I know he's from Arkansas, but still, that's a much tougher job then where he currently is. Although, after that shady business Auburn pulled with the Petrino meeting a few years back, I'm a little surprised he hasn't left already.

Fun Fact: Tuberville's Wiki currently lists him as the new Razorbacks head coach.

...and no, I didn't do it. Although, I am tempted to incorporate the nickname 'Ears' into it at some point.

Miles better be reading this statement.

If you come to Michigan, you will get booed. Alot. And when you lose, you will be killed by the angriest mob ever. I would rather lose with respect that lose looking like a bunch of idiots. Carr had more class than Miles has in his foreskin.

It's Miles' apparent lack of instilling discipline in his teams that unnerves me. He's obviously been successful and I believe Michigan's recruiting would be a bit more dynamic and athletic (which I feel is needed), but seeing a team that doesn't play to its potential bothers me. Being lazy, playing down to the competition, free-wheelin', etc. just gives me pause.

Seeing his recent comments didn't exactly fill me with the 'yes, come lead the maize and blue' vibe either.

People that are U-M fans that think Les will blow out the Big Ten immediately have to take a reality check.

He won't get the talent he has at LSU up here, at least not for a few years. And his lack of discipline upsets me too. I'd rather have Carr as a coach than Les Miles if I were a Maize and Blue faithful.

I still do not understand why people paint Les Miles as a guy with low personal character when after following SEC Football closely throughout his tenure I have nothing that points that way.

The guy is IMO a mediocre coach - but that argument used against Lloyd Carr as well.

I'm curious how many of these positions turn into coaching carousels for the next few years.

and I hope Nebraska's not one of them :(

Michigan Alert

Have a pretty legit word from MSU forums, via Tiger Droppings.com that Les Miles told the team he is leaving for UM after this season, today at practice.

It's been holding up, seems to be extremely legit.
