The Braylon Edwards Show:

Sadly, all the highlights over OSU were so long ago, they were in black and white on hand-cranked reels. I wish I could play, Arc-Light. :(

You dont need to, I still remember the Cooper years.....

Cooper years sucked...let's hope Rich does not do to us what Tressel did to Carr.

I hope his turn to the spread offense goes the way of the Huskers...completely ineffective.

Hmm about the Chi Chi hire, if he doesn't have strong Ohio ties then say bye bye to the good Ohio talent. Plus i hope you Blue fans are patient, because it will take awhile for Chi Chi to get that system in.

Honestly if you think any Ohio high school players are not going to Michigan simply because CRR doesn't have Ohio ties, you're delusional.

The Michigan brand is what sells, the coach doesn't. In fact I think Rod has far more credibility with ANY high school prospect than Carr did.

AP Coach of the Year is Mark Mangino.

Rock Chalk Jayhawk.

Things are a tad bit different here in the north, especially Ohio when it comes to ties with the High school coaches. And with the credibility, yes the name will sell but Chi Chi has no ties with Ohio there-for he might no do so good. A big negative is his offence is not pro-style, unless he changes it for TTUN.

I doubt the creator of the Spread offense is going to not run the Spread offense. If he was - there is no reason to hire him.

Its like hiring Steve Spurrier to run Navy.

He will still have staff with Ohio ties, he will still have a recruiting director with ties in the area and he will still have a Michigan hat which is all one really needs anyway. A kid (that is not a pro-style QB, and possible big name WR) is not going to NOT go to Michigan just because CRR doesn't have Ohio ties.

Again, to think that would be just...delusional.

Yes like i said they will go because of the name, but this is where you might be delusional, Carr had very strong ties in Ohio, and he still struggled at times to recruit Ohio. Also if you didn't know TTUN needs Ohio kids more than Ohio Sate needs Michigan kids, unless you live or have lived in Ohio you will never understand the importance. There are some strong loyalties here, and i doubt Chi Chi and his staff have those loyalties that Carr has establish over the long years.

Carr had great recruiting ties in Ohio, but as Arc-Light said, struggled due to Dantonio and Tressel being there as well.

I'm still laughing at Chi Chi :o

I feel sorry for Utah and Navy fans right now, unless ESPIN has the game showing in their respected states/area.

I don't think we're gonna win at the Big House next year. But most likely at Spartan Stadium in 2009.

RichRod has given me renewed hope. Sorry, I feel like whatever we take from OSU fans must be given to MSU fans.
