Is anyone going to cut Oklahoma any slack because they had to deal with injuries? No.

True enough, but why should anyone? Oregon looked pretty good before Dixon went down. Now it looks like they'd struggle against a good high school team. Sucks, but everybody deals with it. USC is pointing to injuries for some of their lackluster games too. At some point, it just comes down to 'too bad'.

I wouldn't mind if Oklahoma got in, but not because they get a mulligan since Bradford went down against Tech, but rather because they have 2 losses like anyone else in the discussion and they just destroyed the previous #1.

LSU has to get it because the losses had to go into OT and R-Kansas and Kentucky are better than OU's two losses.

In other news...anyone catch that great Hawaii game last nite...it was actually quite entertaining.

And frankly, say what you will about strength of schedule, but given the way this year it has been shown anybody can beat anybody, Hawaii without a doubt deserves some props (and a BCS bid) for going 12-0.

BCS bid is a definite must. That QB alone sells it.

I stayed up and watched the Hawaii game.....I really enjoyed it....

:( I didn't get to break the news. Kudos to you being faster on the keyboard. I at least waited till the PC was over. :P Good news I think. Alot of the '03 players really loved him when he was here...and he knows what the University of Nebraska is all about already. The meeting with the team went well and there were alot of good things from the players so far about Bo. So I think he's a good fit. At the very least he'll be able to get the kids fired up and playing with emotion again. I'll be interested to see who he pulls in for assistants.

* Sees who the Cornhusker is standing over*

Thanks. I had to do a quick edit after Herbstreit turned out to be full of crap. :(

I was never completely sold on Miles, but he seems to know what he's doing.

Here's my returned jersey, signed by most of the team:

It would take sometging insane to happen with the Harris Poll to get something other than OSU/Lsu ...which means its entirely possible this year.

Tennessee vs. Wisconsin Outback Bowl

I was hoping for the Cotton Bowl that way I could go....oh well. It's a bowl I guess.
