Oh yeah baby, finals game 7. Now if we can get into overtime or something, then everyone wins!
They play a best of 7 series in the NHL post season....first to 4 wins
It is a best of seven series. Whoever wins four games first wins the series. You would have to research how it started.
Since the home team gets the last change, which seems to have helped both teams in this series, they try to make the final series fair with the first four games split between cities. Also having a hometown crowd behind you can help. Then the final three games if necessary alternate. The team with the better record gets 2 games played of the final 3.
The Scores Steve Ludzik has learned that the Anaheim Ducks have traded defenseman Chris Pronger to the Los Angeles Kings for D Jack Johnson and the 5th overall pick in the upcoming draft.
Interesting trade for both teams. We saw how much better Edmonton and Anaheim were with Pronger on board, and with the Kings young core, Pronger is sure to bring needed stability and presence to the blue line. However, its a hefty price for the Kings to pay, giving up the fifth pick, and a former third overall pick in Johnson. The Ducks now have a core of Perry, Getzlaf, Ryan, Whitney and Johnsonall of whom are 26 or younger. Scary! Plus, there will still be some great prospects left on the board at number five, which will only add to their outstanding group of young talent.
It's the final game of the year. The championship. After today, no more hockey til October.
Is this a deal to than swap Pronger and a guy like Frolov for Dany Heatley?TSN and Sportsnet aren't even touching this. This is The Score's first big scoop so maybe something's up. Also, speculation that Burke will make another trade now that the Ducks have the 5th pick.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Just when I was getting into things![]()

Hahaha, very true. You've got a century of hockey to catch up on over the summer. If you look online I'm sure you could watch classic games/moments from NHL, World Juniors, Canada Cups, World Cups and the Olympics.
Could be. But the LA Times and Globe & Mail say both teams deny the trade. Apparently the NHL doesn't announce trades during the playoffs.
Its on now.
I'm watching..
ih8nyy, who you rooting for?
